"I have visited the cafe this morning. The decor is modern and chic, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The staff on duty, we’re friendly and constantly working, to serve the customers. I had a latte and a cake, both were very good. I could see people getting full English breakfasts and another table with filled jacket potatoes. All the food looked really appetising and I will definitely be back for lunch! You can also order afternoon tea to eat in or take away and even have a cheeky glass of fizz with it! The cafe also have a great buffet menu, if you need catering for a function. A great experience and even better that I have supported Willowbrook Hospice. A true hidden gem in St.Helens!"

"Very poor. Food cold. Queued 20 minutes to get served. Beef was fatty. Turkey was very dry and hacked rather than sliced. Venue was not very clean. Very disappointing. Won't be going back any time soon"

"Breakfast, for me, has eggs. This place is not capable of cooking eggs. Seems simple enough but it is not simple enough for them. Stood waiting in the serving line for about ten minutes, along with several other people, to have eggs appear ... only to be presented with a bowl of half cooked eggs swimming in some sort of liquid that looked like water. The lady in front of me poked at them with the serving spoon and she concluded they were inedible. I said to the fellow who brought them out, who was dressed like a chef , that the eggs were not cooked and he replied indignantly yes they are mate . I gave up, seated myself, and ate the rest of my breakfast. I kept my eye on the serving line and was not surprised to see other folks standing waiting for eggs several times."

"I’ve played golf here a few times and so booked in to see how the restaurant was. Wow! I was very pleasantly surprised! 5 of us had a Sunday Lunch and it was exceptional. Food was amazing and the staff were super attentive and friendly. Views out of the terrace were just the icing on the cake. Highly recommended."
