"Greulich is a place you almost just have to know about to find. Located on a small street this hotel bar and restaurant is a really nice quiet locale. The place is like a reading room with easy listening music so feel free to bring your laptop or computer. They have a book exchange and library, games and artwork around the main seating room. There is another smaller seating space located next to the bar. Sidewalk seating is available at the front entrance as well as in their inner courtyard area. The day of my visit, they were wrapping up brunch. Their regular menu consisits of a full breakfast, meat/cheese platters, salads, sandwiches, hot/cold beverages, cocktails, wine and spirits. I had the soy milk hot chocolate (6.50CHF) and it hit the spot. The atmosphere is very soothing. I had contact with no fewer than three of their young staff members and they were all smiling, full of energy and more than willing to assist with your requests. They offer free secured Wi-Fi and clean restrooms. One item of note: they do have an enclosed cigar smoking room (and cigars for sale) behind the reception area. The ventilation probably could be better as I could smell the cigars scent inside the main bar/restaurant area as soon as I entered the business. I will certainly visit again and recommend."

"The restaurants interior is veery comfortable and nice and it’s very nice with all the natural lighting from the large windows. The service was also very nice with a very smiling waiter. The food was also nothing but fantastic and tasteful"

"I have ordered a club sandwich when I went to Grieder Bar. Nice environment, but very price. Just to give an idea, I have most probably paid for a club sandwich + coke + 10% service= around 50CHF Very good location"

"Wonderful farm atmosphere with delicious meats and cheeses. Since my husband and I just flew into Zurich, it was a pleasant stop to have lunch outside in the fresh air and even caught a nap on the meadow as we were the only ones sitting on the picnic table area. Poked around into the restaurant and patio area and hope to return for a fondue. Loved the rustic decor and simplistic ambience."
