"Woe is me for choosing a place before looking at reviews. Despite the sweet waitress, clean bathrooms, and cute first impression, the food was very disappointing and expensive. I would say don’t get the very salty onion soup or the very peppery spaghetti carbonara as I did, but instead I’ll suggest trying a different place altogether. Also, in my opinion a TV shouldn’t be going non-stop during dining. People can do that at home"

"Absolutely fantastic meal this evening with friends. I asked for a terrace table but because of the downpour of rain, we were seated inside with no problems at all. For the wine, I highly recommend the Romanelli Montefalco Rosso. Delicious. Love that they have an Italian and English menu. The service was impeccable, and of course, the food was delicious. I ordered the beef tartare and the roast lamb. Highly recommend. Thank you Morena. Remember me because I'll definitely be back!"

"We are frequent travelers to Italy, and recently had occasion to meet a friend for lunch at Nonna Nini in Assisi. It was, hands-down, one of the best meals we have had in Italy. From the lentil soup to the Ragù, the Gorgonzola raviolini with pear sauce, the melanzane parmigiana and the finale of traditional torta della nonna, everything was fabulous. The ambiance is great and the service very attentive and cordial. We also met the owner who is originally from the US (Vermont) but is married to an Italian and has lived in Italy for a number of years …she was delightful. Overall a truly memorable lunch!"

"In Italy it is all about the food and wine, and I must say this place gets that 100% correct. Not fancy but painstakingly prepared as if they were eating and paying for it themselves. We were staying here and had a beautiful lunch, of local cheeses and meats, fresh salad, etc. They have there own micro-brewed beer and it is just fantastic. Dinner was a special treat with leek potato soup to start, followed by some wonderful pasta. All the breakfast items are picked fresh or made fresh. The only thing I miss more than the food is the hotelier, Victor. Come Stai Victor? Sono Antonio, con il bagaglio perso. Arrivedeci!"
