"Booked this for my father 's 82nd birthday through Gourmet Society. Very impressed with the call back the day before asking for more information about my request for seating for my father as he cannot cope with noise behind him. Lovely table. No music on so thank you for that. Bit draughty though. The menu, at first was disappointing to read, against the menu I had picked up on a spa day and the one I had downloaded on line. That said, prawn cocktails were produced for my elderly parents. Again, thank you. The pork pie 'nibbles ' that was served hot, as a starter instead, not sure about at all. All the mains were in fact quite delicious. Unfortunately there was no room for dessert? No room. The service, was attentive and faultless. Decor and ambience was gorgeous. A very memorable night of which, we realise, there are not many left."

"What is wrong with this place , it used to be a good place to go , I have been going on and off most of my life , in the last few years it has changed hands more than a pack of cards . I have avoided the place since I had a dissappointing meal , but as a local I decided to try for another 'last visit , what a terible experience , bad food bad service , it always shows to me when I enter a pub/restuarant on Saturday evening and there is a lonely old man sat at the bar and no other customers that the place is bad , time for another deal of the cards I think , somebody must win one day.."

"Had a lovely afternoon out on the patio with a group of family and friends. The food is fresh and great quality. Service is friendly and helpful nothing is too much trouble. Very reasonable price and good selection of afternoon teas, also have breakfast dishes."

"Spent a lovely afternoon in this delightful cafe...celebrating my daughter's birthday. Table set for 13. Delicious cakes and a fantastic selection of hot beverages to choose from. They even have board games to entertain the children whilst the adults chat! Excellent service. Thank you"

"When the jumbles caffe changed the hands, we decided to make a special visit to see if the new owner had improved both the menu and the general look of the place, both of which were needed a lot. as soon as we... went, it was quite obvious that lizzie had made a massive difference! what was a fairly down and sad caffe, is now a wonderful place to enjoy the delicious food and drinks. lizzie is very artistic and the interior design is fresh, colorful and imaginative. we are voluntary for the rspb and had previously received a rspb badge box until the caffe was shut down a little and the customers were thrown away. when we asked if she would take us with one there, lizzie said enthusiastically that she would like to do this and since the sale of the RSPB badges has sung! we think that lizzie is a pretty collectible this badge, actually! all staff staff members are courteous, friendly and very obligated, so another great plus for this beautiful hiking area, with four-legged friends made very welcome to enjoy the caffe, with their well-being owners! jumbles caffe is really worth making a special trip for a good breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea, even if they don't have a four-legged friend. they can even find a gift for a friend or a relationship, or even as tasty bites for themselves, from the wide range of scars and hats, skillfully designed by lizzie’s mother. in a clam, jumbles caffe is a little gem, so go and see them for themselves and well made lizzie, they must be very proud of themselves! jill ken"

"I had duck and my husband had serloin steak, both were tough, it’s as though they took it out of the freezer, de-thawed it, then microwaved it. It’s not the way to do it. Wouldn’t order these again. The starter ribs were good. Perhaps if I do go back I’ll order two starters."

"Went easter Sunday, we arrived early as I couldn't remember the time I had booked for. No problem had a drink in the bar area while we waited. We didn't wait long even though they were busy. Shown to our table and ordered our meal. Starters arrived well presented and got where needed to be, very tasty and we did share them between ourselves. They kindly gave us time in between courses which is always good for me. The king and Queen dish which I had was amazing the fish was perfectly cooked nothing worse than under our overcooked). Hubby had the calzone pizza and again plenty of filling and very tasty. No idea how but also managed a pudding. Perfect evening had. Thank you to all the staff who make our rare visits very special"
