"As a vegetarian, I was excited about dining at abcV before a show on a Saturday. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. Whilst the food was good, our lovely waiter was serving far too big a section, so the service was painfully slow. Despite asking many times to speed things up, we had to rush to make the show. I understand that dishes come when they are ready, but we had to wait more than 20 minutes between dishes. Considering the price, it just felt not good enough. This was confirmed by our usd 23 desert choice, the granita was a quarter apple sliced, a few grapes and maybe the equivalent of an ice cube of flavoured shaved ice."

"No ruffles. Just order good food. We absolutely loved the preparation of the purple eggplant. It came hot and remained so for the whole meal. The walnut scarf was also a pleasure, I was super happy that the broccoli was also well seasoned. The salt level was large and the freshness of the shrimps. The quality of meat in sweet and sour chicken was exactly what we hoped. Usually the restaurants in this department slip out because they ride and covered with sauce, but this dish does not disappoint. In addition to these three main course options, we had an order of white rice on the site and enjoyed the beautiful tea. Usually we go to Chinatown for this style of kitchen, but seems we have this jewel among us here in Brooklyn. When we ate, we noticed that many people dropped beautiful and extravagant dishes on their table. Can wait to go back and try more like one of the meat plates or lobster fried rice). This place is definitely recommended for family style food because all portions are so huge and definitely worth sharing. This place would also be great for a celebration, they have bigger tables and once the food on the table it all looks so beautiful and special. Not sure they have drinks because we drink the tea that was served all the time on arrival. We also asked hot sauce and hot chilli oil, which is a must on the side."

"Fabulous food and excellent service so lovely to spend the day! I will come back soon for sure. The pea soup was out of this world, my friend’s mushroom barley soup was equally scrumptious and the falafel and pita sandwiches were extraordinary. Mine was extra spicy, my friend’s regular. Both were amazing especially when combined with coleslaw and pickle and dressings on the side. This was the most superb vegetarian luncheon for the two of us. You’ve got to go to Mendy’s 2.0 in person or online or on Goldbelly as soon as you read this review."

"There are a lot of mexican restaurants in NYC and quite a few in the UWS. As far as neighborhood restaurants go, Rancho Tequileria is one of those places I can see myself going to on a consistent basis. Food was great, drinks were hand-crafted (truly), and the owner Angelo was walking around and chatting up customers."
