"Our first visit in winterfield restaurant we had booked the room for a birthday dinner. very nice location, great view over the previous staff were very friendly and attentive we ordered from a set menu, starter was lens soup, very pleasant. our table was mostly steak, which again everyone enjoyed I am a wee bit fussy so had the macaroni cheese with chips. I had no reason to go. with the rest of the party it was a mood divided toilet facilities were excellent (yes, I will mention the quilted toilet roll, how was the general facility the only negatiw was over the disabled access, the main entrance is quite steep without handrails, which for those who are not so good to foot, it can be a real one. I suppose they have disabled access to another door, although this is not sign from the main parking lot or visible yet I still see disabled parking, thought they have electric car charging points unfortunately the building does not seem hound friendly overall a large evening with family and friends, good eating and atmosphere, can not really ask for more."

"Fabulous place for a light lunch or a coffee. Great selection of cakes too! And supporting local artists by showing their work for purchase, and the art is largely recycled materials which is great.
