I was in Gifford for an appoitment and as I was early I was recomended to go to the Lanterne Rouge for a coffee ect, On arrival I was WELCOMED by the owner and had a most wonderful Black coffee and not only that I...was offered a top up at no extra charge, having run my own cafe on a well known beach in South Devon for years I was very impressed with the service and the welcome and Highly recomend to anyone although... What Kelly Simpson doesn't like about Lanterne Rouge:
When we were here it was full of cyclists inside and bikes outside. Lots of cycles jerseys on the wall too. Safe to say it’s a favourite stopping place for lycra enthusiasts! Nice cakes, scones and flapjacks. View all feedback.
Absolutely love visiting Lanterne Rouge. The owner is so welcoming and friendly. Food is always great and the coffee is fab! Couldn't ask for more.
Loved the coffee and chocolate /courgette (vegan) cake today. Great place to stop for cyclists and others.
