"I stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and it was marvelous. We stayed with our in laws, each in one level of one of the 4 room houses. The rooms open up to a large yard area on the water that is excellent for kids/toddlers to play in our 2yo happily ran around outside, and we could watch from our balcony, which was very convenient. We ate at the restaurant and I had one of the best salmon dishes I have ever had. We also ended up ordering multiple plates of the Judd Cove oysters, which I highly recommend (I'm no oyster connoisseur but these were amazing! . One of the excellent waitresses who used to work at the New Leaf Cafe works there now, and the service was fantastic. Their outdoor patio has a beautiful ocean view, with a lovely Jasmine scented Wisteria tree that creates a lovely view and scent. Overall, a great stay and meal!"

"One-of-a-kind dining experience in a candlelight dwelling with a modern look and feel. Beginning with a whiskey cocktail with hints of sage and spice, there is ample time to peruse the menu and ask questions. In pursuit of the tasting menu, I stayed for over two hours trying various well-paired local fall offerings from oysters, squash, beets, soup, mole, and more. The servers are kind and extremely knowledgeable. Flavor pairings were simultaneously unlike anything I’ve ever tried and highly reminiscent of old food memories. The kitchen is very capable, producing magic on a plate and presenting it in an artistic way. I hope to make it back here again someday soon!"

"I just have to say, WOW! What a wonderful experience is to eat at The Loft. Under the rooftop in Eastsound you will find island classics such as oysters of simply on the street, craft cocktails and a varied wine list, among the many thoughtful, hyper-seasonal dishes including line caught black cod with sea beans, oyster mushrooms, local preserved radishes and this crazy tasty sauce paloise (this wonderful ventilated Hollandaise with mint). Do not hesitate to order something you may have never heard of or even generally do not worry about as you are coming soon to find that you have never tasted so about the top good and earn for you next opportunity to return. If you think you don't like beets, think again! Who knew you could learn so much about food and wine at dinner! Whether you are enjoying a drink on the deck or on the Backlit Onyx bar or coming to wish in as many courses as your hearts, you will be greeted with warm smiles and scientific staff. You create a welcoming atmosphere in which your entire experience is improved, how thankfully you take care of yourself. 2019 in The Loft is the safest one Isla Vida recommended place to dive during the visit of Orcas Island."
