"The resort is close to the beach, but isolated from the rest of town. If you have a hire car it is only a short drive to town. The pool is nice. I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, I stayed in a one bedroom apartment. The view is listed as over looking the marina. The ground floor apartments are a couple of meters from a round-about which leads directly to a roadway which leads to the marina. It would have been nice to leave the sliding balcony door open at night to take advantage of the breeze. As the screen door did not have a lock or latch and it was so close to the road I did not feel secure. The first day I was informed by one of the reception staff that the air-conditioning in the one bedroom apartments was not well designed and the bedroom area did not get much air flow. I did not bother with the wifi, just purchased a $ 20 pack which lasted 7 days from Telstra. If you are not travelling in school holidays, book directly with the hotel. It may be of use to check the rate you have booked compared with the current advertised rate and you could re-negotiate."
