"Outstanding service, good food and a nice friendly atmosphere, what more could you ask for? Well if you're looking for a good steak or a semblance of international cuisine you've come to the wrong place! This resteraunt is shamefully Austrian. Not bad and if... you haven't tied it, you definitely should. As well as the food they distill their own liquor (excellent) and sell their own produce. It's a bit of a walk well up a narrow mountain road which might be a bit difficult in winter but a wonderful location in summer and of course you can eat outside. My wife and I had the suckling pig, which wasn't always first class on the menu. All in all worth a visit."

"It's become a tradition for us to stop off at the Adlerhütte for Kaffee und Kuchen during our hols in Kitz.I can highly recommend their Apfelstrudel, which is absolutely divine - bursting full of juicy apples, topped with light as a feather filo pastry, dusted with icing sugar and served with flavoursome local cream.I also had peppermint tea and was pleased that it was quality leaf "Bio Tea." It came complete with a wedge of lemon and a small jar of local honey, which was a lovely touch.Service at the Adlerhütte is friendly and prices are very reasonable in comparison with other mountain huts. If you strike it lucky with the weather, you can enjoy your snack outside on the sun terrace and take in those stunning views :)"

"We were thirsty after a winter hike when we reached this traditional looking place. It was around 11am and absolutely packed, the only seats we could get were in the bar area. There is both indoor and outdoor dining areas as well.Well the place was really rocking, loud music and so many people. We only had drinks but the service was friendly and effecient and there was such a fun, laid back vibe.We really enjoyed out time here."
