"The food and service was fantastic. I was already in her restaurant in middleburg before (loved it) and finally came to try the lansdowne. we started with the ratatouille pizza and one of my companions had the French wobble soup. I loved them both. I had the steak fries and it was fabulous. my companions had the laughs and the ducks and both shaved."

"Well we just ordered $80 worth of food for two people and when we got home we noticed our sushi is missing the crunch that we added to the sushi rolls. I called the restaurant to let them know they missed something in our order, the lady who answered the phone said she 'll get a manager to speak to me and came back on the phone herself saying well the crunch is complimentary so we 'll just get it right next time. I understand there was nothing to be done at the moment but the tone and the way I was responded to was not it for me. Average food, poor customer service. It 's a no from me, thanks!"

"First impression it was attached to the gas station!! How shady is that? It is the best example to never judge a book with his cover, is it beautiful? Is it a silver service? No Was the food delicious? Was the service good? Yes We had the summer rolls, they were good and we had the satay chicken both as appetizers, both were delicious, then we shared the crispy Basil duck and it was absolutely to die for!! Too notch I would highly recommend, I guess the locals already know about this hidden gem through the amount of takeaway orders fly from the doorstep"

"We were looking for a place to grab a bite to eat while we were in the area to do some Christmas grocery shopping, and Firebirds fit the bill well. The interior feels very similar to a Clyde's or other upscale American cuisine restaurants in the DMV. They seemed a little hesitant to seat us at first since we didn't have a reservation- but frankly the place was barely half full when we left, so I could have done without that attitude. But our server was excellent once we got seated. The menu is also similar to a typical American restaurant. I went with the Durango burger, which was cooked medium rare just like I had asked for, and had a great mix of flavors with the chile and ranch. The fries on the side were decent. Overall a good option in the area for a semi-casual lunch or dinner."
