"Loss of money for the quality of food. That leaves us to be a favor. There are other restaurants in the same corner as it is much better, don't waste your money."

"Discovered in 2014 in miirabel, St-Augustin area.Very nice meal plan. a small "French" touch extremely pleasant in all points. In summer the protected terrace allows to enjoy the season away from insects. host table. The wine menu at saq $5, so a very reasonable bill even for a week meal."

"Passing through the area for a day, we decide to go eat at this restaurant always of safe value. very well appointed, warm and clean, we are not mistaken. the lunch menu is served quickly and has good prices. The service is impeccable. the quality of the food is excellent and the quantities are sufficient not to say a little more than my appetite. a corner for a child (cake) is present to make them wait a bit. As usual, we're not mistaken. For the groupies, at the entrance of the restaurant, a celebrity wall is built there. A resigning plaque is hung there...What??? kevin bazinet a former waiter of this restaurant."

"To put you in context, my booking for 25 people is on 8 April at 6:30 pm. On April 6, a friend tells me that on the facebook of "the sugar shack" (in quotes because there is no maple around, hence the sweet name instead of sugar shack) there are many comments saying that even with a reservation people wait 1h30 before sitting to eat. So I called on 7 April to explain these comments to me. After 15 minutes on the phone, the lady says to me: "If your group is complete at 6:30, the only waiting you should have is the time that employees clean the table. She also explains to me that there is a text system that tells us when the table is ready to receive us. (we have never seen or heard of system during our experience there). I would ask Mrs. if she is certain of what she says to me because otherwise I would cancel my reservation to go elsewhere. She tells me there shouldn't be any problems. I then decided to give a chance in this place even with negative comments. (bad, but very bad choice)When I arrive, my family and friends pay their entrance. I'm informing the lady at the entrance how it works. Madam who says, "sincerely, it's my first day here today." So I'm asking the little gentleman. He explains to me that once my group of 25 complete one can go online. (My reservation is at 6:30 pm, I'm on line with my group at 6:22 pm) 15 minutes later, I go back to see Sir, he answers me: "another small 10 minutes". I'm going back online. After 15 other minutes, I return to see the same gentleman, asks him to see his supper. Sir, come back and tell us the owner is coming in in five minutes. (just mentioned here that during it is ~40 minutes we did not move from a hair, not one). the proprio arrives, (I greet here m. alexandre) argumentation after argumentation, m. alexandre, gets angry and tells us to get refunded and go away. It is at that moment that my friend takes m. alexandre aside and explains to him that not only he loses $600 (he doesn't care, there's a line of 700 people anyways) but he goes back to nature 25 people who will speak in trouble of their experience in his business. In 3 minutes, the proprio makes a little call with his pillow at the dining room, makes us go back and asseoit. Three minutes. I just waited 40 online with a reservation! Madam Francine serves us as kings, she is truly exceptional! "I don't know what you told him to the owner, but you've got taaaaa food." m. alexandre even helped francine to serve us! awesome! the food, good, normal metton, as in the majority of sugar huts, not crazy in the head either.Just to add about the wait, the group before us in line entered the dining room when we were finished (I didn't look at the time but maybe 45 minutes later, in the minum). People applauded when they came home, tickled the kind of arrogant and sarcastic applause. Yeah. those. So the question is, go or not go? I'd say that just for francine, yes, but we're on Tuesday morning at 9:00. But for the rest, nooooon, could never. And I don't advise you either. Unless you like to pay $30 to stay in line 1h30! but it's free for you."

"We drove an hour to this place because my son had a desire for Huf-Jowls and I Googled Zuckerhaie with Huf-Jowls on the menu and this place had the best rating. Well! It didn't disappoint! The food was fabulous! They glue...to the typical menu for the most part: pickled appetizers, green (cretons) and pea soup, followed by roasted potatoes, omelet, maple baked beans, winemakers, baked ham and pork eggs and roasted hoofs for perfection. The desert options were succulent, but we were so full, we chose only 3 and divided. The pouding chômeur (maple upside down cake) was unforgettable. This can be very good the best sugar snack food ever! Smaller rooms with wood stove give the place a rustic feeling as some of the huge commercial halls with bells and pipes. We drove with the horse in the woods and there is a grass that strokes 'Zo'. Big family trip! Service was very friendly but not the most efficient. Luckily eat more than that."

"We went there yesterday (Sunday) for my son's birthday. We were 4 including my 2 year-old grand-daughter. We have been here before and have never regretted it and yesterday was no different. To get here, you pass by all the big commercial Sugar Shack along boul. Arthur Sauve near St-Eustache. These places had line-ups outside, parking next to impossible and to keep up with the times (?) a ferris wheel at Constantin's (really ?). First come, first served. Get in line, freeze and bring a lunch. We had reservations for 12:30 and at 12:30 we were seated. They have 2 big rooms that have alternate hours for seatings so when you leave one room, they open up the second while they clean up the first. Very well organised. The food is listed on a big wall mounted menu in the lobby and that's what you get and a lot of it. The preparation of these meals does not consist of frozen whatevers. They are homemade and delicious. I have yet to eat an omelette as light as theirs. You have a choice of 3 desserts: pouding chomeur, tarte au sucre or pancake. Sugar at it's best. Once you've finished, your coupon permits you to go out back and get yourself more sugar by way of the Tire Sur La Neige. You get a popsicle stick that you twirl around the Tire on the snow. You want another ? Help yourself. Really family style friendly service. You almost feel like part of their family. There is also a small barn where the kids can see chickens, lambs, goats and 2 Shetland ponies.$24.00 per person with kids under 3 free. This place is really a dream farm to spend a day."
