"Stopped in for lunch after a hike last weekend. Shared a plate of onion rings and cheese tortellini. Both we enormous and tasty! Lots of inexpensive drink options even though it was pre-happy hour. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Patio was nice and sunny although it is right by a busy road. This plaice would be a great choice for family dining or anyone with a huge appetite :)"

"Little Caesars pizza is decent enough for an inexpensive bite to eat or late night snack, but I personally don't much enjoy pre-cooked warmed pizza. Service is what this location has going for it however. The owners are often found working the front counter or cook lines themselves, even on late weekend evenings, and have always quick to greet me in a jolly way every visit. Plus, if you phone ahead, I've never had to wait for an order upon arrival for pickup. I like my pizza fresh, but don't take that the wrong way: the value provided in service is worth it alone if you just want a quick bite to eat and everywhere else is closed or too expensive."

"This has been my favorite Chinese food restaurant for years, but alot changed in 5 years. The entire order was wrong! I asked and paid for sweet and sour sauce and they sent me sweet and sour pork, I asked for veggie chop suey got chicken etc etc. The ONLY part of my order that was correct was the 4 drinks we ordered. It's so disappointing. And no, they don't replace or send you new food it's a credit. Extremely useless at 730 pm when 6 people are hungry."

"Ordered take out on a Saturday night and picked it up 20 minutes later. The food was hot when we got home and fine. Nothing over the top, standard North American Chinese fare, at least what we ordered. I would order takeout from here again."

"Blue Ginger is one of my favourite restaurants in Nanaimo. Went for dinner last night. Service was great, the waitresses are always so friendly and food was excellent. We ordered four items - they didn't quite come in the order we had hoped but that was fine - it was all delicious. We had the vegetable tempura, the Seafood Popsicle which was new to us and really good - would recommend trying this...also had the MALAYSIAN MEE GORENG which was new to us and very flavourful. We were a bit disappointed with the big Crunch this time - just not as good as usual so will not order it again. Great place for lunch or dinner."

"The food was good had the famous lobster very enjoyable. It was enjoyable that is until I got home, I started to feel very very unwell and didn't sleep that night. If yoy must go avoid the seafood, my friend didnt try it and had no issues. For a restaurant that charged 100 dollars for my bill this is unacceptable"
