"My husband and I stopped in here for lunch on our way to Le Treport and we were really glad we did. The place is beautifully decorated and very quiet. As others have said, the atmosphere is a bit subdued. We felt like the staff were cordial and efficient but they were retreating to the shadows each time they came by the table. In fact, we wondered if something awful had happened (like someone died!) before we got there that put everyone in a melancholy mood. Now I see that other reviewers saw the same thing.The food can't be beat for the price. Seriously, 17€ for a 3 course meal is extraordinary. The dishes were presented well and there was a variety of choice. I did find that there was foie gras in a lot of the dishes and this is definitely not good if you don't fancy foie gras. I don't so I asked to have my steak without the foie gras sauce and I was served just plain meat. Would have appreciated another option. But, that said, the food was good! We both enjoyed each dish. I particularly enjoyed the appetizer which was melty neufchatel cheese on salad. Delicious. It's a great value for the money on the business menu. Nice decor, prompt service. Just don't expect to interact a lot with the staff."
