"You walk into this restaurant and it's beautifully decorated and the ambiance is amazing! The waiter was more attention than I've seen in a very long time. If you left the table momentarily, the napkin would be folded for you when you returned! Service and ambiance 10/10! I really enjoyed all the small plates! The fried mushrooms, brussel sprout salad, and bread service were amazing, but I was unimpressed with the large plates. Cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced! Highly recommend the espresso martini! I'd gladly come back for small plates and drinks again!"

"Fantastic service, great location beside the sidewalk on Palm Canyon. We loved Jamie's great service and good humor. Hector tending bar is where it all comes together. He is a master, skillfully making drinks and entertaining us with good conversation. Definitely recommended!"

"Dined here a few years ago, now has a nice remodel. Good service and menu selection. Loved the mussel app, and special, flounder. Wine were great, as was dessert was super. Reservations needed usually, but we were there early (5:00) and were able to be seated."

"La Marea was a big surprise. We visit the area occasionally and the restaurants are fine. La Marea comes from Westchester where we have many to choose from and it definitely falls into that category. The food was outstanding and the place was very welcoming and comfortable. Can't say enough well. All you have to do is try it yourself."

"The restaurant is a nice concept. This was the third time I 've been to it. Unfortunately the food takes forever to get to the table. It doesn 't look like they have enough cooks. I understand about the labor shortages but an hour and a half for a meal for one person is quite a long time. It would be nice if the management would give you something while you are waiting besides water."

"We were walking around, people watching, and happened on this great restaurant. Lovely white table cloths, lots of outside seating, a warm greeting by the hostess, and the service was great.Two of the three of us had their blue cheese steak salad. The presentation was excellent; the steak was perfectly prepared; there was plenty of blue cheese to supplement the rest of the dressing. Went back again today (why change if you already have a good thing). Had their truffle mushroom soup and would recommend it highly. The service was, again, as good as it gets. Highly recommended for sure."
