"First time we 'd eaten here, great service, fantastic food, decor a bit dated but will defo be back. Plenty of choice for all tastes on the menu. Great options with the set menus, speedy time from order to delivery at the table, good selection of beers and drinks to choose from, woukd be good to increase the no alcohol range Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"We popped in on a busy night, no booking but luckily they found us table. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, freshly cooked with generous portions. I had the salmon tagliatelle which was lovely, so tasty. My friend had fish and chips, the fish was huge with lovely crispy batter. Two winning meals. A great place on the sea front. I will definitely return."

"Had a pre booked table. Staff (young) kept coming to our outside table stating that unless we had booked we couldn't use it!! Took 30 minutes to get drinks. Took another 30 minutes to get our ordered dishes. Their bread was very good, the mackerel pate as a starter was also very good. Both out main dishes were poor. Cod loin on bed of tomatoes etc, was actually a bowl of ratatouille with overcooked tail end of cod on top (the tail tucked underneath to make it look OK like a centre cut loin). The bowl of mussels mariniere was the smallest dried up mussels we have ever been served in what tasted like sour milk and onions. The staff tried but were not being supported by any manager. They were also badly affected by a group of young adults with 3 babies in pushchairs the size of buses, 2 other children who caused havoc on arrival with the staff having to move tables and chairs to try and accommodate this party."

"Lovely lunch and good prices. Only reviewing a 3 because it was a bit off putting to see the staff in the kitchen which looked a bit messy. Would have enjoyed more not seeing the food being made from where we were sitting. Other than that was nice enough. Thank you"

"Visited a few months ago and left really disappointed. Visited a few years ago with family who live down that way and we all loved it, so we decided when visiting family again we would go back. I won't be deciding that next time! Service was slow after waiting an hour and a half for food that has been clearly left under a heater before serving, the vibe wasn't the old friendly self it used to be. Won't be going back"
