"Oh my what a lovely cute place! Visited on my own while staying at the Premier Inn opposite...excellent first impressions the restaurant is spotlessly clean. Good menu plenty of choices and at a good price. Prawn Dim Sui was delicious as was my main of Chicken Noodles...the place was filling up as I left...staying an extra night tomorrow so think I will most definitely eat here again! Stunning place really highly recommend"

"So me husband and daughter arrived in poole and walked dowm highstreet looking for somewhere to get out the bad weather. Upon arriving every customer stared at us and whispered, other than the bar staff who didnt look up from the task she was doing....It took mins to get served, due to the young girl behind the bar talking to seated customers despite not aknowledging me and my group. From there we were then told that they will not be serving food, despite being a family friendly pub. The atmosphere was cold, and unwelcoming and the drinks and service were mediocre at best. As we were leaving, we saw a gent outside who i presumed to be staff, shouting at a woman and throwing his hands around very agressively. This is around the time me and my husband decided to leave. Big shock. Me and my sister visited before lockdown and although not perfect it was at least welcoming and friendly. Staff need a major training session in customer relations and the whole building needs a good scrub. star."

"We visited Riggers, and the bar above, a few times during a midweek break in Poole. (We were staying in the nearby Travelodge and found the ambience and food here to be preferable, especially the quality of breakfast. And it's a bit of a desert around there, with a busy ring road between there and the town centre and quayside. The location was great for sundowners overlooking the waterfront and watching the lifeboats going out on training exercises. The food and drinks were reasonable and the service good. The building is attractive with lots of polished wood and glass and nautical touches. A large spiral staircase leads up from the restaurant to the spacious bar, which has a balcony to enjoy the sea breezes. This is part of the RNLI college and all takings go towards the running of the charity. So, you can enjoy a pleasant meal or drinks and know you are contributing to saving lives at sea!"

"Wife and I called in at 11.10 on a Tuesday morning for coffee's but had just missed breakfast which finishes at 11.00am. Staff/team were brilliant, friendly and helpful and in addition to our coffee's and instead of breakfast they suggested a bacon/sausage sandwich. Served at our table, with a smile. I highly recommend a visit where you can sit inside or outside, in or out of the sun and have a fantastic break and refreshments."
