"Went there for lunch and returned for dinner as well before and after visiting the Uros Islands. Very good food (Peruvian/European fusion), large portions at a reasonable price and lovely atmosphere.Its a family run business and looks like the owner (a German guy) enjoys what he's doing with his Peruvian wife.Thanks for your hospitality!"

"At the end of the day at the Royal Inn Hotel and decided to eat at the hotel as it did not feel like an exploration due to the impact of the altitude in Puno. The prices were quite reasonable. I had the 3 course fixed menu for 30 soles (only under $10). The menu changes daily and there are 3 options for appetizer, main course and dessert. I had the pumpkin soup, Andean trout and banana crepe. Herbal tea was also included. The portions were large and everything was delicious. My friend ordered the Alpaca-Steak with mushroom sauce from the menu, which was delivered at about 35 soles. Our two ducks came with potatoes and vegetables. My friend said it was the best meal he had in his 8 days in Peru. I usually try to stay away from hotel restaurants because they are usually overpriced and don't have many food options, but I'm very grateful."

"I was in the mood for Ceviche and the price was good with the promise of a free drink. Drink came quickly, surprising how long the Ceviche took and unfortunately their version of it wasn't that good to me. Could be a personal flavor thing."

"I actually ate twice the same day in this cozy restaurant in Puno. For lunch had an amazing chruncy pizza. There were beautiful international music in the restaurant. For dinner I had trout with vegetables that didn't disappoint me. The part fits me, and... I had dinner for 24 soles a joint 1 l Coca Cola for 9 soles. The menu is a fairly long list both in Spanish and English. It may take some time to decide what you want. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a delicious pizza, the trout was also not bad!"

"We came in late afternoon when the restaurant was just about to close between lunch and dinner but the staff kindly let us in. We tried the fried chicken and the llama steak with pepper sauce here, both were delicious and good value too. The...staff were friendly and polite, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a feed in Puno."
