"Eating is good and the wine list is quite extensive. catering for children is decent and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. the vegan choices are excellent and their is a good selection of diet options. there was a slight break into the offer as there were a few years back opened, for example, they no longer offer entertainment (farb and quiz place set) for children, but eating was relatiw consistent."

"A tiny village pub in the middle of nowhere. great parking and even better eating. the staff was friendly and friendly. I must admit that I no longer expected as a pub food, they know the classic fish n chips, burst with maische and gravy etc. but when I saw the menu and ordered my food, it was as good as top restaurant quality. the food was cooked to perfection, the sauces and garnishes were excellently balanced and complicated everything beautiful. the portions were small, but enough to satisfy. large selection of weeping - good selection of beeing and a limited, but classic, selection of cocktails. I want people who like quality food to travel back to this small village pub. they are not dissapointed."

"I wanted a quick dinner so popped in and ordered grilled pork dumplings and stir fried pak Choi. Stunned to find they only accept cash, there should be a sign on the door clearly stating this. When I opened the packets, the dumplings were clearly BOILED not grilled, and the „pak Choi“ was not the dark green one that we know from the supermarket but white Chinese cabbage (hakusai) or just English white cabbage. I took it back to ask if they had given me the wrong order and she said the word pak Choi is the Chinese word for that white one.!!!! I took it, but won’t be going there again as I can’t be sure that what is advertised is what I will get. Menu looks good, but it’s not what you think!!"
