"Oh dear. My daughter has just taken myself and my husband to The Granery, Weston Park for Mother's Day. What a disappointment. The starter was ok ish. The mains were an absolute culinary disaster!!!! I had beef and my daughter had chicken. They arrived at our table stone cold. The waiter apologised and said they had been sitting on the pass for too long. He took mine back to warm up. When it came back eventually the meat was just a load of gristle. Long tubes of whitish sinus. Unable to cut. Impossible to chew. The 3 roast potatoes were so hard and tasteless. So dry in the middle. Like eating talcum powder!! The cabbage was almost raw. My daughters was the same. The half chicken was dry and over cooked. Tasted bad. Inedible. Wish I had stayed at home and cooked a meal for my family myself. Shall not be rushing back. Not worth £40 a head."

"In the last few years already several times here. when we first went there to get a drink like I've never been. to decide where to eat. duck was on the menu so I wanted to stay. although I never had the duck, because the other menus sound so delicious. that was divine. the service super. we were very happy. we've eaten there for Valentine's Day and a murder mystery night. To be honest, I can't blame the place. it is really and honestly run by people who really want to enjoy and take what they do. I want to work here! x"

"Me and my husband have just returned from having a gorgeous Sunday dinner, we had turkey and it was so tender, the mash is absolutely beautiful and wow the Yorkshire pudding is massive and the fresh veg in the separate dish was beautiful, especially the honey glazed carrots and to finish off we shared a sticky toffee pudding with lots of beautiful custard too, would highly recommend and will be back for food again really soon x Service: Dine in"
