"I have a deal for the restaurant. Really good vegan options for us and good service. The food is a little slow to come, but we weren't in a hurry. It seems, since the last time we left, we wouldn't have gone back if we didn't have the deal, but because we had a good experience, we'll go back."

"Not used this place before certainly won't be using them again. Ordered 2 pizzas 1 kebab garlic bread. Came after 40 mins. No garlic bread so we sent the order back as we wanted it all together. 2 guys in car outside our house shouting at each other. We called the number to complain was told they would send the garlic bread. We told them we wanted it all together was told they wouldn't send the order back! Very rude. No customer service, no repeat business!!"

"I made my table and asked for a nice table because it was the 21st of my son and he had requested this restaurant. When I arrived, we were shown at a base stand (instead of the beautiful round stands available) and without mention was made my son's birthday. In fact, when we mentioned it at the end (if the waitress asked if we did something nice later), she didn't even know. The burgers we had were average and I fought to find something I liked on the menu. I chose the Festive Menu with Southfried chicken for starters. They were hard and overwhelmed to damage the upper inside of my mouth, and the meatball pasta was so disgusting that I sent it back. I didn't eat anything else because I was so impressing with one of my foods. The meatballs were solid, terrible pre-formed things that were shaped into elongated balls, and were hard to eat meat balls in place of the soft mint style that I had eaten in other factories. There was a lot of penne pasta and very little sauce too. The restaurant was dark and appeared a little tired, not indicative of the experience I had before (a while ago I admitted) when I went to the one near the Showcase Cinema nr Batley, which was expensive but welcoming. My son will only be 21 once, and although he was glad he had not the happy birthday music, he was disappointed with his meal. We paid the full tip for the waitress because she gave good service. Perhaps this is only this special restaurant, but because of our experience this time we would not eat here again."

"It was a wet, miserable Saturday afternoon when we visited to have dinner with family. It had been recommended so our expectations were high and we were not disappointed. The large and varied menu offered enough choice to suit a wide range of palates. The portions too were very generous. You won 't leave here hungry! 'Homemade ' is a phrase that features a lot in this menu and here it reflects in the well cooked tasty fare that appears on the plate. A companion had the Yorkshire pudding starter, the size of a plate, which came with lashings of gravy. It looked so good I ordered a small one as a side for my own main meal. I had potato skins as a starter topped with bacon and cheese. More like a full small baked potato that skins. But good none the less. I was a little wary but tried the deep fried battered black pudding one of our party ordered and surprising this was very good. Our other two companions had been here before and sensibly saved themselves for the main courses. Two of us had Suet lamb pudding. A large portions packed with tasty chunks of lamb. You had the choice of chips or mash with these. I chose the chips (homemade and scrumptious). We asked for extra gravy and it came in little jugs. The whole was served with a range of vegetables that were well cooked and presented. Two of our other companions had the strips of beef in a peppercorn sauce. The meat was declared to be soft and tasty. The sauce has a little more to it that the average peppercorn sauce that comes as a side with a steak which was a positive addition to this dish. You get a choice of carbs too one chose rice the other half and half (Rice and Chips) The other party member had a Yorkshire Pudding wrap. There 's a choice of roast meats to wrap the pudding around our diner chose beef. Again these come with a choice of sides. They both looked and were pronounced very good. Three of us went for a crème Brule for dessert, one for ice cream and the other stated they were too full. the ice-cream was pretty average and I think the Crème Brule although tasty would have been better served in a smaller deeper dish. The only issue I would have is the £2 charge for a small bread roll and butter. We didn 't have any but if it stands up to the quality of the rest of the food served, who knows maybe they are value for money. I would definitely recommend for a wholesome, unpretentious family meal out."
