"First time here, and very disappointed. Another East Indian franchise owner cheaping out on the portion size and toppings that are included with the meal. Barely any rice, or Caesar salad. The chicken skewers weren’t grilled long enough, no lemon wedge for the Caesar salad, and the bread wasn’t sprinkled with Parmesan either. I asked her about it, and all she did was shake once on each plate and walked away. You would think being a franchisee they would follow protocol to keep the experience consistent. Keep it up and you’ll see the results, as I’ll never stop in again when traveling through. Do better!"

"On Monday, January 3rd, 2022, I purchased the OPA platter with the chicken skewer u0026 the Greek salad. Although the chicken, bread, rice, and olives were fine, the rest of my meal was disgusting. About 3/4 of the tomatoes in the salad tasted rancid u0026 were rubbery. Several of the cucumbers were bitter, as were most of the peppers. There was very little salad dressing on all the veggies; some even had none! Although the red onions tasted all right, they are certainly not very appealing to eat in chunks when they are dry! My potato was also not cooked properly or evenly; part of it tasted somewhat raw. I was very disappointed with my visit."

"Outstanding food and service! The Best Shawarma in town! Favorite lunch spot! Always fresh and handmade food. The pickled turnips are soooo good and made by the owner himself. You gotta try them. Try the Lava Grill, you'll be hooked!"

"Our favourite place for takeout in Red Deer. It is so good that we can’t do much to branch out to other places. We love the chicken shawarma, beef souvlaki and kafta plates. We usually replace the salad with extra potatoes. Yum’"

"I used to love opa but it just seems to continue to go down hill. This one is by far the better of the two but it's still not fantastic. The calamari is overly breaded and greasy and the never give you enough tzatziki even when you pay for extra. Not somewhere I would go out of my way to visit."

"I had made a reservation for my friends birthday, requesting a private table. we sat in one, not exactly what I thought. the service was good, but eating was not what I expected from a restaurant that has as much hype about how good it is. we both had steak and praise. the steak was thin and rubbery and the lobster tasted freeze cabinet burned. overpriced for what they get. not impressed and would not recommend it."
