"We had our order messed up where a number of items were left out (feta cheese and tzatziki sauce for the skewers) plus we were only given a small quantity of potatoes to go with our order for 5 people. It was disappointing since it was our Thanksgiving meal with the family. But after talking to George, they generously agreed to us ordering the same meal again a month later at no cost. This time they were spot on and the food was delicious as always."

"The freshness of the ingredients is the focus at this wonderful establishment. Located in the heart of Winnipeg's Forks Market is a must visit! The staff are wonderful and you can certainly tell that the ownership is directly involved with the day to day operations....The Home made Honey Dill sauce is a must ! Had to go back twice!"

"There's nothing fancy about the Pembina Village just great food and a comfortable room. The outside patio was a nice surprise (though a reminder that patio smoking is still permitted in the Keystone province). Had the lunch souvlaki which was big enough for dinner and would highly recommend it. Make sure you have the soup, excellent and a meal on its own. The Pembina will especially appeal to those like me who are tired of the sterile and repetitive bar and grills and are looking an honest dining experience."

"SwizzleStyx. I have been coming to Johnny's for as long as I can remember and I have never been disappointed, except for the days when Johnny himself isn't around with his big, friendly smile! Had lunch here yesterday with a friend and it was excellent. You really can't beat the prices here, especially considering the portion sizes and the quality of food. The home made soups are always excellent and the salads are all great. For sure one of the best clubhouses in town, home made fries, awesome pizzas and sandwiches, this place is terrific!<br/ <br/ Nov 2018 had pizza here today and was outstanding!!! Lots of toppings, all fresh and service so awesome and friendly!!"

"Have been frequenting this restaurant for years and I've never had a bad meal or experience. A few great items I've had are the fries, souvlaki, tzatziki and avgolemono soup, although they also make incredible salads. You can purchase the salad dressing to try to capture the taste at home as well."
