"Good food, from entrees through to mains dessert. The decor hasn't been touched since the 80's, and menu isn't overly complicated- but that's not why you come to Maria's. The food is generously portioned, and tasty to boot. Sometimes the service is a little thin, but the prices are reasonable, and there's a reason it's a local favourite."

"New owners get a tick for me. that is their second caffe after the south corner in werribee. some smaller inside,- menu and operating hours tweaks, but fortunately, a lot of the available features remained. Unfortunately, they have taken back the uniqueness of the johnny pump interior decoration, which has chosen a rustic/farmhouse style. eating was good, coffee was good, was happy to give her new dinner menu a bit."

"You made me a lot of time with so delicious pizza I mean, the other reviews are not lying when the right cook makes the pizza it is like I back in New York BUT there is a white girl, I have forgotten her name, which is usually on the front or takes orders over the phone, which is a hateful attitude and makes me avoids them bc from their negative energy. She was careless, the last two times my order was wrong and quite rude. All the others I treated are super pleasant and always made my visit a pleasure. I stopped ordering the delivery because they are busy and as soon as I waited for 2 hours and they are like 6mins from my house, but execution has worked well for me when making the pizza right."

"I have died and gone to Pasta heaven! I was told of this place and given its a particularly cold day, thought of pasta.I had the spaghetti and meatballs. Mainly because everything with meatballs is fantastic.This cafe is humble and you can see the kitchen very well. Which is why it is a delight. I watched as the cook/chef lovingly made my spaghetti, add the sauce and meatballs and serve it with a slice of bread in a massive bowl. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't finish it. And now I have the "I'm too full, sweating pain" that you get from eating more than you should.May have to have a nap today.This place is essential for real authentic home style pasta."

"Ordered a flat white coffee to go with 1 sugar. Coffee was half full of foam and barista asked me 3 times how many sugars I wanted.I ordered a vegetarian muffin, but were told they had bacon in them!! Seriously!! So I had to have a cheese fill roll, as I had already paid by eftpos. This had been microwaved and was not cooked very well, so into the bin it went!Other salads and food looked OK though."
