"Great evening with Deb and Andrew on our trip to Hobart. Friendly and efficient Waitstaff had in a flash drink. Together a bruschetta pizza had to be the best pizza base of all time. Main Court Risotto with fresh seafood improved by fresh side of Chilis in olive oil - excellent. With refreshing homemade gelato strawberry vanilla lemon and chocolate closed. The Celeb photos on the walls are testimony to De Angelia quality. One to return again and again."

"Capital was busy on the freezing cold Saturday we dined with them. Staff were friendly and attentive. The food though, was just a bit blah. Calamari fritti was quite floury and oily and stringy, white bait a bit lack lustre and oily. Quail over cooked, pork belly succulent but lacking flavour. The pasta dishes at our accompanying tables looked and smelt amazing, and were much quicker - several being served before us, even though they order quite a bit after us.Maybe we got the antipasti on a bad night, but I won't be rushing back. I wouldn't advise against eating here, the food was ok - but I wouldn't recommend it either."

"I went into amici's last night, it was my restaurant of choice for the 1.5 hours hospital leave I had as a patient. I ordered the entree gnocchi carbonara and the brownie dessert, both as takeaway, and was charged $32.40. At the time I was thinking of contesting it, but fact is: you can't see the desert prices on the outside menu - they're cut off. I was expecting something around $10 on top of the $17 for the entree gnocchi and so was a little surprised. But I didn't want to embarrass myself if that were the right price. It was only later today that I looked online at the TA menu and sure enough, I should have been paying around $23.50-$25.00 (the brownie isn't listed on the menu but all other deserts are listed at $6.50). I know it's not much of Sh overcharge but it makes the difference to me. And a shame because Amici's is my number one pick for pizza in Hobart and I haven't had a bad experience before."

"The Restaurant was fully booked, but they managed to put us in a great little table in the lounge for our very last minute booking. From the first contact of our phone call, they could not have been more accommodating! Food was amazing, wine & drinks list to die for & not to mention the smashing cocktails! The service from Kate could not have been better - she is an asset to your obviously already well appointed team. We will be back for sure & will be recommending to near & far. Well done team, keep up the great work!! Can't wait to come back."
