"We were driving around and decided to just try this restaurant for Sunday lunch. It was full of patrons. It was pleasantly nicer in the inside than what I expected. Lots of menu choices to figure out what combination or pasta dish you wanted paired...with a soup and/or drink. We tried the fish noodle soup in a very mild broth and two item meat combo with sole and chicken thigh options with spaghetti. Ample free parking in their lot."

"Had lunch several times at the place. This is inside the Richmond Centre. Standard good service and the place is quite crowded. Noticed that the menu had been revised since my visit 2 years ago. Seems to have less choice. the burgers are still there. Think there is a bit more choice on seafood. Taste of food is still up to standard."

"You know you can always count on Mui Garden to satisfy your curry craving. Being from Hong Kong and all, home style cooking gives such a personal touch and reminds me of home. Dishes like Minced Pork Chili Beans, Sweet and Sour Pork, and their daily soup tastes super authentic!<br/ <br/ For this visit, I got my two favourite dishes from here: Curry Chicken with Rice and Sweet and Sour Pork. The Curry Chicken order comes with a drink or soup. As it was a cold day, we chose the soup! For those who haven't had Chinese soups before, they tend to be made with bones scraps (Chinese people don't waste anything bones from meats give the soup a great flavour). The soup usually contains some chopped up turnips, carrots, and parsnips as well. It's a light broth unlike cream soups.<br/ <br/ The Curry Chicken is amazing as usual. The chicken is consistently tender with the softest skin that slips right off. The sauce is creamy with just the right amount of spice, mixed with green and red peppers. I absolutely love how every Asian cuisine has their own different type of curry. When it comes to Chinese curry, you'll know to expect a heavy, creamy sauce. A lot of Chinese dishes/sauces are meant to be mixed with plain rice, which explains the strong flavours in most dishes!<br/ <br/ Without a doubt, Mui Garden is my ultimate favourite place to get Sweet and Sour Pork. It's rare to find a restaurant that serves this dish with every piece still crispy! The pork is deep fried, and topped off with a red, sweet, and sour sauce. In the sauce, there's also vegetables like peppers and onions and fruits like pineapple and lychee!"

"Ever since I stopped working in Richmond, I have been deprived of my usual spot for lunch. Parker Place. I remember it was always busy/packed in the food court during lunchtime on the weekdays(okay, weekends too Has this changed? Now, in order to get my fix, I have come here for dinner and it's far less busy. I actually like it better now, no more having to wait for an empty table and trying to snatch it up before someone else does! It was a weeknight, so Marv, his mom and I ventured off to Parker Place for dinner. Our first stop of the night was Curry Kitchen His mom ordered the Shredded Chicken with Egg on Rice (above left and the Baked Ham and Cream Sauce with Spaghetti. This was a takeout order for Marvs dad and sister. There was a lot of sauce for the rice dish, it was overflowing out of the box! His moms next stop was Shanghai Goodies ."

"I know it's a cliché, but where else do you get soup or salad to start, free tea or coffee, an entrée & a small ice cream for a decent price? If you paid for all these elsewhere, the prices would be easily 30-50 per cent higher.Hit the restaurant the other day after a swim at the pool. Tables and bathrooms were clean. Our group ordered: thai curry sauce w/ chicken, seafood liniquine, & plain old spaghetti and meatballs.One person was allergic to food and the server and manager took great pains to make sure she didn't order the wrong dish (manager came to the table twice). Good service, coffee is surprisingly good, strong coffee!after taxes 3 dinners was $45.You know what you get at this chain and it's good food at an ok mid-range price.Only word of advice: if you like dipping the hot sourdough bread into the pasta sauce, ask them to make sure there is extra sauce. Quite often the pasta dishes come and not enough sauce."

"We have been to the deer garden in Vancouver and liked the food there, so thought we'd try the one in Richmond. The menu is the same, the quality is similar... good noodle soup and other Asian fusion varieties too. I do feel like there's MSG in their soups though since we were very thirsty after eating... Prices are reasonable. This location is quite small and does fill up quickly. At 1130am we had to wait for table but it didn't take long. At 1230 there was lots of people waiting for tables when lunch crowd comes in even on a weekday! tables are a bit tight for my liking. plenty of parking but again the mall is full of restaurants so it will fill up. I don't recommend going on weekends since the mall is a zoo with patrons and parking is hard to find during busy hours..."
