"Some really nice baked goods in here. The pies look amazing and the butter tarts are the best I've had in a long time. A little pricey, but worth it for what you get."

"I love this place and when I meet friends Baker Bob's is always my first choice. I can go there with friends or just by myself which I do often sit on the bar stools at the huge front window and watch folks go by in the sleepy town of Almonte. My favorite is the Spinach filled pasty and the tea biscuits. Goods are baked fresh every single day and there is a big selection set out on the table for you to pick and chose with a fresh coffee to go with it. Prices are more than reasonable and feels like you are just sitting at home. That is how great this spot its. If you go and don't feel welcomed let me know and I will come and buy you your next coffee there. I don't expect to hear from anyone at all but that offer is good."

"An incredibly unfriendly atmosphere when they are a customer from the city, and eating is terrible. I had an omelette and it tasted only from processed cheese slices. at least use real cheese."

"This is a lovely place. The food was delicious and staff was polite. However, it took almost 30 minutes to get served on Saturday morning with only 4 customers at the cafe. The prices are also quite steep. We had two breakfast sandwiches and two coffee drinks and paid over $40."
