"I went to this place with my friend and her family, as we were looking for local (kassoulet) and other options. the cassoulet ended to turn, but the goat salat and burger left much to wish. best was the salad...boring and consisted of romaine with some overripe cubed tomats as well as the cheese on their haushahn c’est tout. vinaigrette boring. and of course not cheap. I have many salads since very frank, which were beautiful and full of taste with wonderful fresh vegetables. my lyonnaise friends were quite disappointed in this choice."

"Arrived there starving after booking into our nearby hotel. Husband had delicious freshly home made burger with chips which he says was excellent. I had slow cooked pork with a curry and honey sauce with tossed salad and chips. It was divine and reasonably priced. Good local red wine and coffee, too."

"This has been a family run business for decades. The warm greeting you get is only matched by the delightful food. Tucked away in the pedestrian only area, the theatre itself is showing Parapluies de Cherbourg' and there are dozens of umbrellas suspended high above...the tables which are placed on either side of the street. It's a great little spot just next to the parking Jacobin. Don't miss it if you are in Carcassonne."

"At the end of the meal, waited a long time for the bill, we finished up and paid. About to leave and waitress comes back, said she mis priced the bill and wanted us to pay extra. (no explanation why). She wouldn't let me pay by card so I had to go to a cashpoint AND PAY WITHDRAWAL AND CONVERSION FEE all because she didn't want to waver the which she made a mistake on with the bill (or let us pay by card In any other country, they would have wavered this VERY small fee to keep a customer happy. I'm just shocked at the rudeness of staff Also, I tried my best to speak French and they made no effort to help me and speak English when I got stuck. Bullies Oh also, despite going twice to the bathroom and letting them know there was no soap, they made no effort to replace it. After requesting a few more times, the same lady took away the soap, and then gave it back. All she had done was fill it with warm water!! Unhygienic for a restaurant bathroom Seriously guys, avoid this place!"

"Nous sommes arrivés par hasard cherchant le calme et de l'ombre pendant notre visite de la cité médiévale sous la canicule. Nous avons déjeuné dans ce jardin paisible niché dans le cœur de la cité, sans voir ni entendre le flot des touristes. Déjà c'est formidable et ravissant. Nous avons pris les menus entrée plat dessert (-de 30euros). C'était très copieux surtout pour ceux qui avaient choisis le cassoulet et le dessert. Tout était très bon et bien présenté. Le service est à la hauteur aussi. Le restaurant dépend du superbe hôtel de la Cité situé en face. Le plus, le menu enfant propose des petites portions de vrais plats et non l'habituel jambon, saucisses ou pire des nuggets. Une belle parenthèse au cours d'une journée qui peut être fatigante."
