"We just bumped into this place next to the Stern a Hotel. The Husband & wife were extremely welcoming & out to please. They speak 5-06 languages. & made us feel very special. We also enjoyed the Argentinian white wine. Beautifully presented food. Thankyou."

"Welcoming service by the waitress despite the language barrier. We enjoyed our food which included two Wiener schnitzels with potato salad and Jamie’s cordon bleu with fries, and a mixed salad to share. To top off the delightful meal, the chef (maybe Jamie himself? came to say hello and check how we were finding the food."

"We stopped here while driving past Chur and were able to park outside on a cold Sunday night. This is not so easy in Chur. On walking in, the restaurant was crowded and people looked happy. Good sign. Prices are fairly typical for Switzerland, and...the food was very good. Asparagus and strawberry salad was excellent. Pasta is very good. Service excellent. Everything else looked delicious. Worth a stop or a detour if you are passing."

"I can't say this place yet, but the man is fabulous! it is very difficult to find. we passed twice, then turned around when we were gone and had to step back. but that was worth everything and more. the server. has found us menus in English that have helped much with our choice, but the server has the heavy lifting with most of our asking. they add no service fee, so remember that when they pay. my man started with rootvenggies and spellings, of which he made short work. he followed that with the best stroganoff he had ever paired with the Pasta/Kartato tortellini and spinat. he finished everything with real cream brûlée: I had a cream of white asparagus soup followed by baked salmon and porcini mushrooms. we've been on the road for 38 hours, about two hours. thanks to the coworkers for putting with us eating so fast. we were very hungry for good food, but that was more than we ever dreamed. it was recommended by mercedes in the post hotel."

"We did intend to eat in a more traditional Swiss restaurant, but have done that plenty of times and just liked the vibe of Calanda. It was busy and bustling. My wife had a vegan curry which she said was excellent and I went for...the Postplatz burger. I know a little bit of a boring choice going for a burger but sometimes that's what you're in the mood for and I didn't regret it! Honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. Service was amazing too! In particular, our waitress who was slim with shirt blonde hair and tattoos. She was brilliant. It may not be a traditional Swiss restaurant but you just have to look at how busy Calanda is to see that it's doing something right. I would definitely go back! Oh and good local beer too. Funnily enough, called Calanda!"
