This historic restaurant is charming. Service was very good. Food was generally of a high caliber but unfortunately the veal in my Geschnetzelles was tough. Such a shame as the sauce and rosti were delicious. My husband’s beef stroganoff was so tender it could be...cut with a fork. read more.

When the weather conditions is nice you can also have something outside, and there is no-charge WLAN. The rooms on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for visitors with wheelchairs or physical limitations.

What Chris Cook doesn't like about Stern:
Pet allowed, but not pet friendly (in 3 hours nobody bring some water for 3 dogs). Menu' just in German and English, not in Italian or French language. Very cold welcome by the big lady, maybe owner, maybe head of restaurant. But the cherry on...the cake was teh service: We seat down at 12:30 and we wait the main course until 15:00!
