"Stopped in for lunch on the way through Gander. Busy spot but got seated promptly and service was fast and friendly. I had the pea soup with a dumpling. It was not very hot and the dumpling was a bit gummy but flavour was good...and amount was generous. Others declared their meals to be good diner type meals."

"Very good food. Very good customer service and was clean. Only down fall was the lack of food in stock (no bread for the toasting machine, no children's dessert for their kids meal and out of stock of a couple main dessert items). For being in business for a while I would think they could forecast product inventory better"

"My husband and I have been travelling for weeks all over Newfoundland……we are from Ontario. We had some excellent dinners throughout this beautiful island but this restaurant is a favourite!! Absolutely delicious food, novel dishes (not deep fat fried) and so well presented. I...give them credit for being so creative with their dishes and achieving such gourmet rated food. The service was excellent. You can tell they take pride in their food and service. Can’t recommend it enough!!"

"First order from a recommendation. I have no idea how to evaluate this place more than 2 for food quality. a super superb pizza and medium donair ordered. incredibly bad on both sides. the pizza crust was okay, but I think. it would have been great if it hadn't been soggy and cold. the donair was completely bad; got various sets of fat inside the meat, it was very cold, almost as straight from the refrigerator, in cold Donair sauce. the meal was completely bad. I would never return or order from here. review this place more than a 2 tells me that people have not experienced a real donair. this place is a failure in my book to avoid in any case."
