"The great reviews for this restaurant are completely justified. the staff is warm and welcoming, the service beautiful tempo and the eating is excellent. octopus in panko crumbs and a Gers-style salat of siers and foie gras were followed by an excellent fish dish .something between a stew and a suppe. richly aromatized and with an excellent selection of garnels, mushes, white fish and vegetables. Just delicious! we've finished with an obst- and ice-sun and coffee. eating good, nice atmosphere, what is not to like?"

"Snack Lio is the cosiest little restaurant in Les Chalet . The restaurant offers great food at affordable prices when we were there, some locals started singing spontaneously which gave the restaurant just a little more charm than other places. The dishes were quite...large and when I ordered module frites (mussels and fries) I got a whole pot of tasty steamed mussels. The great service from the smiling staff was also noticeably better than other restaurants."

"When you first approach La Voile Blanche, set on an unspoilt expansive beach lapped by the temperate waters of the Med, you sense that you are in for a bit of a treat. Despite the restaurant essentially being a large wooden cabin raised up about...a metre off the beach you enter a stylish, tranquil environment with jazz-funk being played at just the right volume. It did take a few minutes to be seated but we were on holiday and there was no rush. We decided to sit inside the restaurant and took in the views out over the beach and sea beyond. We could have sat outside but it was a hot day and we wanted to give our boys a break from the sun. We ordered drinks and then perused the menu, which was limited (but not in a bad way I hate being presented with hundreds of options in some UK restaurants and you know it's all food service companies providing the meals). We went straight for main courses, which was a choice of fish or meat dishes. Me and the boys went for the burger and my wife for a fish dish (very similar to monk fish) and presented on a vertical skewer, which was the restaurant's house special. A burger in France sounds a bit of a heathen or typican English choice, but it was a sumptuous home-made burger in a very good bread roll with cheese, bacon and onion. The meat was cooked rare, as requested, and absolutely melted in the mouth. We followed the meal with coffee and asked for the bill. At almost euros it wasn't a cheap lunch, but it was worth every penny. The service was friendly and professional, and by UK standards it was relatively slow, but this wasn't an issue. The leisurely lunch in France is alive and well, and this wasn't just because we were by the beach. Now back in the UK, I know that going to a beachside cafe here is never going to be the same."

"We have visited this restaurant several times in the past with friends, the portions are massive and very tasty.However, on recent occasions when we have tried to get a meal we have been told that the restaurant was fully booked, even though there was no one else there and all the tables have been empty, if there is a restaurant which is about to commit suicide this is the one.Friends who have visited have also reported negative experience's and I am not sure what the future is for this restaurant.Its setting in a quiet alley just off the road to Lidl, takes it off the beaten track, but when you find it the outdoor seating area is pleasant. Inside is light and airy.That is about as much as I can share about this restaurant."

"We were impressed by this small restaurant. It's run by a husband and wife team, he is the chef and she does front of house. The service was very efficient and the food was excellent. The moules frites were very good and the fresh fish was very nicely cooked. Chef seems to pay attention to presentation of the dishes because everything looked very attractive.Good find, we'll be going back."
