"This a very good, Italian inspired restaurant with homemade pasta. Service and ambiance are outstanding. My wife’s mushroom ravioli was excellent; I found the lobster ravioli (which was recommended by our waiter) to be a bit bland. Not a lot of choices for wine by the glass and bottles seemed pricey. Dinner with salad, entrees and wine was $125 US plus tip."

"We ate here because we stayed at Privilege Aluxes and this was one of the few restaurant choices at the hotel. The only positive here, it was the only restaurant at the hotel where they actually gave us water and refilled it without having to ask three times.We ordered some Nigiri and a roll as an appetizer. The tuna and salmon was blah, semi warm, and not very tasty.Shame on me for ordering the Crispy Fish Curry entree at a place I was already unsure of. The yellow curry sauce was ok. The fish in this dish was so "fishy" I had to push it aside and did not finish my meal. No one asked if the food was Ok or what was wrong. It was obvious I had left almost the entire meal on my plate.Would absolutely not come back here for anything. If you want sushi, hit Asia Caribe in the downtown area of Isla Mujeres. The fish there was fresh and tasty. The service was attentive and pleasant."

"We took our golf carts from mid-island and eventually found our way to El Charco. It is situated in a really cute little neighborhood off the beaten path. The service at the restaurant was incredibly helpful and friendly. I ordered the Enchilada Suiza and my wife had the Arrochera tacos. These were the best we had all week in Isla Mujeres and we ate out every single night. The side condiments that are available were also amazing. The potatoes were especially delicious. I would go here over an over again! I highly recommend!"
