"Just a short (steep) walk downhill from Hahnenkammbahn top station is the lovely, rustic, Hochechutte restaurant. Head around the back for sun and excellent views (they is also a small children’s play area.) If weather not so good then inside the hut is also interesting.I have had some good hearty mountain food here, but on this occasion just had coffee and cake – still well recommended."

"Incredibly beautiful, fantastic location. The friendliness of all employees is hard to beat. It left nothing to be desired. The kitchen is fabulous, whatever we ate was excellent. Rosi is available for all guests, her attention to detail is reflected in the entire property, including the staff. The rooms are also really nice and well-kept. We felt very comfortable and welcome all around and will definitely be back. Rosi's Sonnbergstuben are an institution... Chapeau"

"Alt Kitzbühel is a restaurant which recently switched focus from tyrolian cuisine to being a steak restaurant. The steak I had was very good! However, all other things in the restaurant are not good at all. We had to wait 20 minutes to even get the menu card and waited another full hour until we got served. When we asked the waiter about this, he gnarled about the kitchen being overloaded and the restaurant being full of people, so we better wait! I ordered a mixed salad with steak tips, which was only steak tips with 3 pieces of lettuce and half a fork of carrots. When a waitress took the dishes and asked if all was fine, I told her it tasted really good, but I had expected something else - which made the boss of the place turn up and yell at me how I dare to complain and insult me in front of all the people!If you want a good steak for a costly price with a mediocre wine and don't care about rude-most people serving you: here is your place!"

"Visited high-kitzbuhel for a afternoon drink with a family celebration. waited for old for a waiter and finally had to ask one to take our order, he said this would do if he had time we could not see red wine on the menu listed and so ordered two glasses blind da white wine in the region of 4 euro, we thought it would not be exorbitant wrong! After we have given ourselves a wrong order that the waiter refused to accept, his fault was that we enjoyed the breathtaking view from the terrace. our pleasure was short, however, when we were calculated for each glasses of red wine 9.50 euro. the waiter said it was kitzbuhel and the wee was excellent (it was best moderate). we paid the bill and left disappointed and determined not to return."

"No doubt the quality of the food is good here. While sitting in a cosy area both the sashimi and the spicy soup are served well. No surprises however. Main course being the Australian shrimps in vegetable rice is good as well but not beyond expectation. Care and attention is well arranged but as the restaurant got packed waiting time becomes longer. Quality of the wine is fair. Being there with two kids makes a good food choice quite a challenge since exotic. The creme brûlée however is a big hit! Considering the overall the food is good but the overall experience slightly overpriced!"
