"Yoshinoya is a Japanese fast food restaurant known for its beef bowls. Directly translated as Yoshi's shop, since Yoshi is a name, no indicates possession, and ya means shop This place has an area downstairs where you can order food to-go when you're in a hurry but if not, I suggest you visit the second floor shop. Once you make your way up, you'll appreciate the bright orange color that adorns the interiors of the restaurant, in my opinion, it has a cute vibe to it I then ordered the Beef Misono meal. It's a rice bowl with Sukiyaki beef cuts. That's how we call these slices of meat in my former job, but not sure if it's a common term for it....read more"

"Look for Yoshinoya if you want a fast food Japanese menu... Food are just seasoned quite enough to deliver that authentic taste.???????????? I would say that this really taste better ????than it's other fast food chain riva - read it's name twice ????

The beef is just tender enough for me. The veggies are just perfectly blanched????... just didn't like the taste of the Green tea cold drink now. I can say that the taste has changed from what it used to be. I have not savored the Red tea if that is better though. But we appreciate the yummy desserts that they have...

Good value for money. This place is quite spacious and love the new theme of Yoshinoya. Did not have the chance to take pics of the place though."

"Taste buds blown away by wafu ramen. At first I thought it tasted weird because it had this "fishy" taste but after a few more slurps I was hooked by its unique taste. The base is a mix of pork, beef and fish broths that works perfectly with each other. This is now on my top ramen place here in makati!"

"Big big fan of Japanese food! The only downside is that it can be a bit expensive. While it applies to most of the Japanese restaurants I know (except Tokyo Tokyo), Yamazaki is proof that Japanese cuisine can be cheap yet authentic. Yamazaki is a hole in the wall restaurant in Little Tokyo Makati. It looks like a restaurant outside, but when you step inside its doors you will be surprised that the first thing you would see is the grocery store that sells Japanese products.

What I like about the hotel is that it serves good Japanese food with huge portions but for a cheaper price. I think it has something to do with the cost of the interior (design of the whole) so it's not as expensive as the others.

I love the food and everything about it, but what I don't like is the ambience and other waitresses who are a bit "rude". All in all, everything is more than ok ????"

"It's a open dining concept, so if it's not too hot it's really nice to sit outside there. They have Filipino dishes but also dishes from Thailand I think and it is tasteful. The chairs and tables coud be cleaned a little bit better, so I only give stars even the food is yummy and cheap."

"We had their best seller hainanese yellow chicken and it was quite bland and not up to par with my expectations (given that it was quite expensive), but thank God for their Cashew Coffee Spare ribs I still managed to enjoy my dining experience. It was the right mix of flavor and was worth the wait and the money."

"We rented a place nearby and wanted to eat dinner within the area. I suggested to check the Collective and we found Wabi-Sabi. The food that they serve are vegetarian meals.

It was indeed a good choice! No guilt noodle soup! I ordered tomyum while my dad had viet pho. My mom and brother had tantanmen. We ordered those three because the others were not available. We also added harumaki for sharing. At first, we just ordered one harumaki until we ordered another and then another one! It was very flavorful and chewy. It's like fried tekamaki. The tomyum is sour, not much of a fan for the veggies that tasted odd but I enjoyed it especially the tofu and other cold cuts. The viet pho was like my tomyum except that it wasn't sour and had different toppings. I like the noodles used for tomyum and viet pho which was chewy. A different noodle compared to that of famous Chinese and Japanese cuisine. The tantanmen is sesame oil based so it's for people who like that kind. Although the noodles were just instant the veggies were fresh.

The place was just small but I like their staff. They were very accomodating and friendly. I'll definitely be back for their harumaki!"

"So far, Hitsumabushi in Nagoya is the second best meal I've had in Japan and I'm so glad I found it in Manila! Hitsumabushi basically eats unagi rice in "4" ways but first divides it into quadrants and then enjoys it - (1) as it is; (2) with the spices of spring onions, wasabi, sesame seeds and nori; (3) with spices and broth; (4) back to your favorite. My favorite is actually between 2 and 3, I just don't add that much broth. The taste is amazing ???????? Make a special request to have their excellent eel instead of the fine one (what's on the menu).

Of course the one I had in Nagoya is way better than this one, but I was still glad because they did well. The 'Excellent Eel' is definitely a better choice, the portion was good too, and the quality of the wasabi was great. Highly recommend you come here and eat this instead of the plain unagi rice. Make sure you get the Excellent Eel as the Fine Eel as the price difference is not very big for the quality. The price is a little high, but it's unagi and it may be your only chance to experience Hitsumabushi.

IG: FOODINSQUARESPH

Not sure about the eel bones starter, nothing special so I would suggest you skip it.

This place is getting more and more popular, so come on soon!"
