"The Café Stalder in Uzwil, Switzerland is a spacious cafe that serves brunch and lunch, and is open on Sundays for those looking for a nice place to eat a traditional meal. They have friendly service and were open to our family of four with two children, eight and ten. There is a small children's menu and some vegetarian offerings as well.On Sunday, they have special brunch menus. I had to Cordon Blue Schnitzel with fries and roasted vegetables. The schnitzel was well prepared, moist and full of flavor. The roasted carrots and, in particular, the fennel were very good. My wife had the Rosti with tomatoes, which was good, but perhaps a bit bland and the portion was large. Our daughters had the Wiener Schnitzel and the Chicken Nuggets respectively, and both finished theirs easily and spoke highly of the food. The salads were fresh, although they added too much dressing.The service was friendly and accommodating. Although I began ordering in German, once the server realized the kids were American, she easily slipped into English.In all, this was a serendipitous find and I've added it here in the hope that more people find it as they might be passing through the area."

"Sunday brunch is the great. tasty, varied and pleasant. there are two times to brunch that you have to keep. it is also possible to order brote for allergic (gluten-free) brote, these are bought from externally. in the summer, many seating possibilities are on the terrace. the chairs, however, are not very comfortable and the tables are too large to entertain themselves to four so that not the adjacent table will come along with everything. something has come into the years.The service is very dedicated. if a lot is running often overwhelmed and miserable. Special requests are met whenever possible. the small playback for children is nice and allows for families to enjoy a relaxed brunch.The brotvielfallt is large and also very tasty."
