"An interesting menu of delightful Malaysian cuisine. The staff are helpful and polite. We came upon the Banana Leaf when looking for a restaurant for a late ( 9pm) dinner; everywhere else nearby was closed but the Banana Leaf came to our rescue."

"A rather quaint Italian restaurant that i just tried for the first time today courtesy of my client.It was a quiet day only 2 other tables with people when we arrived at 1 pm - my client says its usually packed on most days.They brought the complementary warm bread served with olive oil-balsamic combo as dip instead of butter.For mains penne with beef - serving is just the right size for a single meal. The sauce is sumptuous and pairs nicely with the red wine we ordered.I cant remember the flavour of the gelato i had for dessert but i enclosed its photo. It was light and soft to the palate. A great way to end my meal."

"This restaurant is our go-to for celebrations, or just dinner with friends. The food quality is top notch, modestly priced and service is friendly but professional. It's like one of my favourite restaurants in a small town in Italy. Family friendly, elegant, but understated and excellent service. You'll need a reservation for the earlier part of the evening as it is busy (because it's so good.) Never disappointed!"

"Gruesomely overpriced for the quality AND quantity of food served from the menu. Tortellini were decent, but the so called whole portion should definitely be larger than fitting into the palm of my hand for $22 price tag (for take-out). Potentially decent pesto chicken pasta was dominated by overflowing amount of olive oil and due to that became inedible. Pizzas displayed in the window were unmarked (that shouldn 't be too much of a task, specially that most of the traffic these days is walk-in) and we had to ask for the clarification of the ingredients for most of them, that had veggies and/or various meats on them. We asked for a cajun-chicken one, which was the last slice on the tray, and got one with corn and bacon only! Nothing like what we saw in the window when ordering. With the tip the bill ended up to $77 for two miserable portions of pasta, 4 slices (2 per portion) of pizza and 3 bottles of flavoured sparkling water. I 've been to NYC many times, ate well and not so much, but this name puts a stain on anything New York. Sorry, this customer and two other people who ate with me will not be returning customers, although we live and hike in the area."

"My husband and I came here for dinner last night for the first time, but it was the third time for our friends who were with us. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and offers dine in, outside and take out. It was a chilly...night so we dined in. The menu offers a lot of different items and gluten free options (which I need). But the prices are a little high for my liking. Starters: Carpaccio Cremoso, Insalata Lattuga, Zuppa di Cavolfiore, and Insalata Mista All good, but the Isalata Lattuga was small for the high price Mains: Three of us had the Scaloppine Marsala and I had the special of Scallops over risotto They were all very good but I think the Scallop special was too expensive when you just get three scallops, but the risotto was the best I had ever tasted. Sides: Spinach with Blue Cream Cheese and Mixed Grilled Vegetables good and reasonable price Dessert: This is one of the reasons for a lower rating by me. Our friends split the Ciliege Galani and my husband and I shared Torta Al Limone E Pinoli and a Creme Brulee All the desserts were priced the same, but the Ciliege Galani was huge and was good for two people. The Creme Brulee was enough for two people because it was so rich that only one person wouldn't be able to finish it. Now the Torta Al Limone was the biggest disappointment. It was small and very thin. They could easily had made it twice as thick for the price we paid. It did taste very good. Now, the service was mixed. It started out very good with us getting looked after by 3 different wait staff for different things. But as the meal progressed, the service got much slower. I guess because it was an early dinner and the restaurant started getting busy later. The service got to the point that it took a while to order dessert, to have the dessert come, to ask for the bills and the bills to come. And then when the bills finally came, two of our dishes got on our friends bill. They took them back to correct and they got them wrong again. When they took them back a second time, they came back and said they had to leave the bills as is because their system wouldn't allow them to change them. What? I suggested they start over and was told they couldn't do that either. It was only a $7 difference and I was about to have our friends pay us the difference when our waiter swooped in and took the bills again and came back with the two sides taken off the bills. My friends really like this restaurant, but my husband and I are in no hurry to come back again."

"Just wanted to say how wonderful our server Kim is. She goes above and beyond every time we drop by, either with a group or on our own. She attends to every detail and gets our bill right every time. The food is usually excellent and the ambiance is comfortable and Mario is always welcoming...thank you for being our go to place!!"

"The spring rolls were OK but, the chicken chowmein was the worst I've ever had. The flavor was not great and every mouthful had raw noodles in it. I can only liken it to eating raw/hard instant noodles from the package. Anyway, I barely ate it The sweet & sour pork was OK in terms of taste but the meat was very chewy/fatty and not enjoyable either.The portion sizes are good but it doesn't make up for the poor food quality. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone I know nor would I eat here again. I don't know if it was just so bad because we arrived 2 hours before closing or it was just an "off" night but neither of us liked it."
