"Tried this restaurant based on the recommendations of friends who raved about their prime rib dinner. You have a choice of a 9 or 11 ounce prime rib with all the trimmings (starter side salad, Yorkshire pudding, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed veggies and garlic bread). The salad was fresh and crisp. Dinner was very tasty but everything could have been hotter. I don't enjoy food that is not piping hot. We saw quite a few pizzas being ordered while we were there are they also looked quite delicious. Will definitely give this place another visit."

"Since it was the Family day in BC and a beautiful day outside, we decided to try some Jamaican food (the only Jamaican resto in White Rock).The place is easy to find, very clean and the personel very welcoming.We had the jerk chicken which was so delicious but so hot too.We'll come here again to try other Carribean goodies."

"Took clients for dinner who just moved to White Rock. The Labni which was made in house was very good and the crab cakes were some of the best ever had. The Seafood Stew Hot Pot was just okay, needed some vegetables in the broth to make it feel like a meal. I had the Arugula salad which was also just okay- uneventful. I did not like the chicken that I had on the salad. It was over cooked and torn up slightly and put back together to look like a breast so it was not very pleasing to look at. Can't remember what our clients had but they seemed happy. The service was fine except that our waitress was not very diplomatic. Young and needs more training. We asked for tequila shooters and she mentioned the brands they had. We chose one and she said "okay you want the cheap one." The ladies chose Goldshlagel and she brought it to the table cold which is correct but did not shake the bottle so we had no gold flakes. She said that this is the way they always pour it but she could take it back and shake the bottle first for us. Remember customer comes first, we are paying for a dining experience, make it memorable so we come back and we tell others to come back. Food was good, prices were somewhat high but it is on the water. It is not fine dining but I still think worthy of a try. Hopefully they do some staff training not just on their drinks but on their food and how things are made and where their ingredients come from, so when we ask they have confidence in their answers."

"I usually don't write reviews, but this place was terrible, the fried rice looked old with frozen vegetables. the track mi brot was stale, the huh salty and sweet soggy. the children who normally love Vietnamese would not even end it, it was so bad."
