"Today is a very special day for me. I can officially say, I’ve had the best pizza in my life. All of the ingredients, down to the salt are imported from Italy. Chef Roberto perfected every part of the pizza. The dough was airy, perfectly crisp on a wood fire, the tomato’s were aromatic (with perfectly balanced acidity/sweeness), the basil was unlike anything I’ve tried before, and the flavors harmoniously coddled my soul. It was truly an emotional experience. He took Monica and I down a journey of his lineage to Naples, Italy. Bravisimo. If you are in London, go to Notting Hill and have the best Margarita pizza you’ll ever have"

"First, they did not have my OpenTable reservation booked. They managed to find a table for us. But service was slow to nonexistent. Finally, when i asked for the check, they told me they could only accept cash since their payment system had been down for a few days, something they could have warned us about at the beginning of the dinner. Very bad experience, very sophomoric service. One star for service"

"Went for dinner with my wife and was very excited about the place as it looked real nice and the ostrich eggs, it happens that they don't have ostrich eggs in there anymore. I think they should update it on their website and Google as we felt very disappointed. Waitresses seem to be very distracted, there was some drama going on with a customer screaming which happens sometimes, but I don't think this should take the attention of the whole staff. We were waiting 15 minutes for cutlery, so we took the ones from next table as our food had arrived already, he gave us such a stare for taking the cutlery from the next table and came puffing to replace the ones we took, I guess he was expecting us to eat with our hands. The kitchen is exposed, so we can see what is going on there, and oh God, the chefs were CONSTANTLY eating, licking their fingers while preparing the food which to be honest almost made me leave. For the service they provide I think is super overpriced, we didn't enjoy the food as we constantly saw cheffs licking fingers, wine was hot, lasagne was tasting weird, the chicken parmigiana was literally nothing special. Definitely not going back at all, I don't think that place should ever be called an Italian restaurant."

"Just popped in for a quick working lunch to get out of the office and away from the not-so-pleasant hustle of Hackney Central, and instantly felt relaxed in this large airy dining room. The large communal tables are perfect if you're in a huge group, but also surprisingly un-overwhelming when you're a party of one! I ordered a dirty bird sandwich- chilli roast chicken with jalapeno mayo. While on paper it was something which would definitely be right up my alley, in the flesh I had a couple of problems with it. For a sandwich it was a little hard to eat?! Odd I know, but hear me out- the bread is toasted and quite a dense variety so as soon as you cut into it everything spills out......read more"
