"I was going to give my title "Hard to Find" but didn't want folks to not go any further in the review. What I was trying to really say is that in Puerto Vallarta there are not many Chinese restaurants especially one that makes everything fresh for your pleasure. The few other restaurants use heating trays where the food just sits for hours drying out. The owner I.e. Chef Ernesto welcomed us into his small restaurant which it appears could serve 15 people. It had a beautiful Chinese mural painted on one long wall. They don't serve alcoholic beverages but did send send one of his staff out to get one Pacifico and one Negro Modelo beer for us. He also served us fresh water with ice and some crunchy appetizers with sweet and sour sauce. My friend Will and I then ordered. Will who has been going to Ernesto's restaurant for years was my host and related no choices are bad based on his many visits. Being from the San Francisco Bay Area I know good quality Chinese food. Will ordered Kung Pau Chicken and Orange Chicken and Sweet and Sour Soup and I ordered Chicken Chow Mien and Chicken Fried Rice and Sweet and Sour Soup. Ernesto's wife served us the soup which was in a large bowl and was just wonderful, and just spicy enough to cause my nose to run. Because it is ALL freshly made by Ernesto one has time to slowly savor the great soup and not feel rushed. Wow, you should have seen the 4 oversized plated of the above Chinese food they brought to our table. Will and I both told Ernesto to bring us doggie bags before we had even eaten a bite. Groan, groan it was hard to stop eating as Will and I shared all 4 plates of food. The food was so fresh I.e vegetables and meat and rice and noodles. Will and I both took home so much food that I had a huge lunch and didn't need dinner the next night. Fresh, fresh, fresh is hard to beat and they menu is very sufficient including many of my favorites like Egg Fu Yung. Then after we paid the bill Ernesto and his wife took us to the door and blessed us on our departure with smiles and salutations. They have a new address: La Capilla #181 in front of Park Santa Maria in Barrio Santa Maria. Tel 293-4561 or cell 044-322-303-7814. Open Monday to Saturday 12 pm to 9 pm, Sunday 1 pm to 6 pm. "After a very successful fishing trip we docked at 1130 and went to this place for lunch/bunch. The menu was great, I had an omelet several people had fish tacos and other sorting things my daughter really loved the French toast. Great service Lotta laughs with the servers. Great atmosphere. A wonderful way to finish a great fishing trip"

"Excellent little restaurant across the pedestrian bridge from the airport. It isn’t difficult to carry your luggage there and it gets you immediately away from the pushy sales people at the airport. We had the combination burrito, which was a lot of food, but inexpensive....The smoked marlin especially delicious."

"We traveled to PVR in the hot season. We felt the need for some AC, hailed a cab and told him we wanted a restaurant with AC. He took us to Cuertos. They in fact has AC! They have wonderful fresh seafood specials. We ended up having HUGE shrimp wrapped in bacon, coconut shrimp and butter garlic shrimp. Off the beaten path...worth it!"

"Great meal. Great service. Only a small hole in the wall is locked by La Palapa. We shared Papas Gravis (Kartoffelkeile w Chipotle), Prosciutto and Pear pizza and the famous coconut shrimp on a linen line. It's great. The Grapefruit margarita was so good... I had a third. Both ladies had a white wine Sangria they both enjoyed. Very fair prices, the whole bill comes at about $1,000 pesos. Definitely stay in our downtown fave restaurant rotation. Very recommended."

"Mango margaritas pool/ocean side at sunset! That should be enough, but the food is really good too. Loved the shrimp wrap, chicken wings, flank steak nachos, chicken quesadillas & aguachile shrimp!! Great service - my glass was never empty! Perfect spot for dinner or just snacks & drinks."

"Came here by recommendation of a friend, and honestly can't remember the last time I had a meal this bad...?! Ordered the shrimp Giovanni, and I am not sure if anyone could come up with a worse recipe to serve shrimp? Absolutely missing everything that makes shrimp such a rich and tender dish... drenched in a horrible BBQ sauce. My husband ordered a pork dish and the beans looked like they had been cooked to death, rice appeared to be a rice mix? ....service was great, waiters exceptionally kind and polite but wouldn't go back here if you paid me. Wish I had something better to share..."
