This is a new destination this year. If you are staying in the Vadanta complex (Grand Mayan, Grand Bliss, etc.) getting off property continues to be a challenge due to the effort to prevent walking off. We walked from the taxi stand out the 'under construction' gate to the restaurant took the long cab ride back. Food was excellent! Portions suitable for big eaters. Walked out of the Vidanta paradise to eat at the new local place outside the gate Alcatraces. Big,Big space don't eat outside very noisy with trucks, buses and cars going by. We were three couples and had traditional Mexican all good but not great. We had shrimp stuffed with Guda cheese, stuffed peppers, a steak Mojeta that was huge and smelled great.
