"I'm from Alberta, so I don't eat seafood often and when I do it isn't very pleasant. I visited Vancouver recently and my girlfriend (who is originally from BC) took me to her favourite Sushi restaurant. As we approached it, it seemed tiny, hidden/tucked away....The service was very quick which was nice (because when I'm hungry, I like to eat as soon as I'm hungry). After looking through the menu I decided on a combo platter. Might as well try a little bit of everything! My gf got her favourite dish, the pink lady roll. It didn't take long to be served (maybe minutes max) and at first bite I was in love. I had a bite of the pink lady roll as well and THAT was amazing. We ended up going back the next day because I wanted more. The spicy roll sauce is the perfect amount of spicy and savoury. In Alberta, seafood is expensive, because it's flown in and frozen/ not very good times (unless you want to fork out some serious cash, which I'm not willing to do). The prices were so cheap and you get a lot. I couldn't finish mine because there was so much, and it was under Very, very satisfied! I will be returning!! PS in the photo there should be or more pieces of sushi, but I ate them before taking the picture!"

"Incredible sushi near stadium chinatown station. We had the yum yum crunchy roll, which is avocado, yam tempura, cream cheese with some sweet soy sauce and crispy yam tempura sprinkled on top and it was one of the best vegetarian special rolls I've had in my life. They also serve hot green tea before your meal, and have a nice selection of Japanese beer and soju.Try them out!"

The beef taste good and not too sweet and also no fat.Bento teriyaki, the California roll size ok and also recommend.Sushi fisherman roll also recommended, it combined with skin salmon. The Gioza pork, really good too and the skin gioza was thin and bit crispy on the outside skin.Overall good Japan Food."

"Consistently good. We have been to Iki a number of times and never had a bad experience. Though not exactly authentic, the sushi is consistently tasty and there are some more creative rolls to choose from. The yam fries are delicious and the food is good value. The use of brown rice makes it slightly healthier without harming the taste. The service is somewhat apathetic but adequate enough for the price."

"I was excited to try this place out and it didn't disappoint! It isn't the easiest to get to if you can't drive there. But if you're around the area, definitely try it out. The restaurant is new and nice. We were seated quickly and they brought us tea right away. Service here was really good the whole time we were there!<br/ <br/ We tried the aburi combo (6 pieces for $12 , Belly King roll, chopped scallop roll, and the uni and ikura don. Presentation was pretty with their large bowl for the don and the garnishes for the belly king roll. The belly king roll description says that it has pesto and a balsamic reduction. I was afraid that the sauces would be overpowering, but it wasn't. However, I actually didn't even really taste much of the sauce at all. But the roll was still good, except I think I will stick with my usual negitoro roll. Chopped scallop had the right taste, but was a bit too chopped to my liking. The don was beautifully presented and had a generous portion of uni. The aburi was my favourite and is an item I would go back for. Our aburi came with beef, salmon, tuna (belly? , ebi, hamachi (toro? , and hotate. I can't exactly remember the exact ones but they were really good. The ebi is not your typical prawn and was really meaty and tender. The beef was not over seared. The hamachi and tuna melted in my mouth. The only one that wasn't as good was salmon because we tried that one last. It's still good, but in comparison to the others, I'd rather have those. <br/ <br/ I was definitely happy with my visit here. Food was great, pricing is reasonable, and service was friendly. Definitely a place I'll be going to more often."
