"Always a favorite. The smell alone of baked bread is enough to bring me back repeatedly. But, this time, we came with family to celebrate a birthday. Now, I understand Bistro Boudin is a flour and water factory, aka gluten heaven, but to have such limited and uninspiring gluten-free options on the menu made it seem that there was a lack of creativity in the kitchen. They brought out a piece of meat on lettuce for my mother-in-law, who has a true gluten allergy and a shellfish allergy (which kept her from the French fries, too, due to cross-contamination with the fryers and frying shellfish). There was an option on the menu to have a side of polenta from another dish, but the chef was “out of polenta.” I was a bit embarrassed to have flown across the country from Boston, having talked this place up for years since my previous visit, to have her experience a dinner that was nothing worthy of creating a lasting memory. It’s too bad because otherwise, I loved my meal, and everyone else in my party had a great dinner. But, a place that is too overly specialized has to be flexible and creative to accommodate diners with special diets, especially nowadays."

"I love the cosiness of the theatre and it is usually very clean what is beautiful. You have a good menu selection and the staff seemed to have much improved in recent months, with the service is faster and they actually remember / bring the full order. The loss of a star is on mediocre food at high prices... Even the drinks are not so great, but expensive quite high for what you get.... Also sometimes the online booking system is incorrect when you try to buy tickets online. Otherwise I'd like to come to this theater..."

"This piece of history has some of the best Onion rings I have had in a long time. We came in for the Chicken Fried Steak that is great. The steak is tender and moist. The breading is pretty thick, but that's the way they do it. Very happy to enjoy it..."

"Great dinner out with my family. The starter salad has so many toppings! Greens, red onions, dried cranberries, feta, on and on with a great house dressing. My calzone full of my choice of spinach, artichoke hearts, and tomatoes was flavorful. My husband had never seen so many lasagna options, and the girls were happy with their kid sized chicken Alfredo and focaccia. Can’t pass on the happy, happy hour pina colada for $5 or the huge chocolate chip cookie for dessert! Loved having the assistant GM stop by to check on us and tell us the history of the restaurant and its ghostly resident. Highly recommended!"
