"After two visits to La Wafrenetica and eating four different waffles, there are so many delicious words to describe their culinary offerings. The vegetarian waffle ("Ay Jalisco, no te rajes!") was my first foray into the menu. It has poblano pepper, corn and panela, all sandwiched between two, square waffles. Today, I enjoyed the chicken breast waffle ("Changuich a la Chichona"). It is my new favorite savory waffle! The chicken breast was tender and flavored exquisitely with curry. Spinach, avocado and sprouts perfectly complemented the savory chicken.But really, waffles for me is all about the sweet! La wafrenetica has a variety of options. I've eaten both the caramel apple waffle (La Manzanita) and the red velvet cake waffle with bananas ("Banana si, banana no"). The caramel apple waffle is as delicate as sponge cake with juicy apples and just the right amount of cinnamon. The red velvet cake waffle, though, takes the cake. Red, decadent cake-like waffle layered in bananas and smothered in caramel. A delicious way to end the meal!"

"It is such a treat to eat paneer once a while in Guadalajara. The paneer makhni of India Gate was decadent. Delicious flavor, perfect consistency. The sauce was lip-licking good. I can't wait to try their saag paneer (spinach paneer) the next time. However, avoid the samosas. They were under-fried and missing the normal samosa spices."

"It was a fantastic surprise that I ordered the tacos dezello y camaron, and it was the best taco I had so far, very balanced and not the usual jalapeño takes everything I had tried before. then I ordered 4 quesos that was wonderful....The sauce had good texture, and the cheese and the mushrooms really complemented themselves. the Mexican cheese about it was such a special note the desert (pastale de chocolate) was also very well made the room was very nicely decorated and the lounge music was too good"

"Un lugar excelente para desayunar, en especial si es con amigas. Tematica francesa por todos lados, opciones de desayuno francesas y mexicanas, y muy buen café. Los platillos no tardaron y el servicio fue rápido y atento. Sabor excelente en la comida, Tiene estacionamiento dentro...de la plaza. Ricas opciones para llevar a casa y a reuniones de postre. An excellent place to grab breakfast specially with friends. French atmosphere everywhere. They have french and mexican food options and great coffee. Dishes came out quickly and service was excellent, very responsive and fast. Flavor was great. Parking lot just a few meters away (although it's the malls parking lot). Also, great dessert options to go."
