"Staying in the hotel, we came here to eat here. we received a warm welcome. the service was however slow on most things. the starters were enjoyed, especially the thunfish and the black johannisbeerlachs. the mains were disappointing. the salmon “fresh from New Zealand” was...tonish and a ridiculously high price (also for genf! the servierpersonal said that the part was advertised as on the menu, but again on the menu online, it did not mention the portion size. the salad menu was a great idea in the heat, but the garnels in the garnalate were dry and overcooked and the salad part was not interesting enough for a main course. I would choose to not eat here again."

"Cold space, rude staff, strange rules about getting one drink and one food per person, even though the food price is not cheap at all and if you don't get a drink have to pay 3chf! It took a long time for the food to arrive (the staff said it would take 20 minutes, but it took double the time). Although the pasta was delicious, I will not return to this restaurant because of all the above factors."

"Great atmosphere. Staff are laid back and could do a little more research on what they serve. Wines advertised on the handwritten list above the bar elicited the reply that they were not stocked, but a little humour melted the cool exterior and suitable alternates were found.. Loved the idea that I could browse among the second-hand books while waiting for my order."
