"It’s not me…it’s you……We have dined in many restaurants and had some wonderful culinary experiences and a few not that great. But this has to take the cake as the worst experience. Hobart is beautiful and the start of our evening at the Henry Jones Long Bar was magical amazing service, oysters and cheese….and cocktails to match…then we left to find a bite to eat. We found a gorgeous waterfront view and a sign proclaiming Hobart’s Best Asian Food…we entered…atmosphere non existent and rubber table cloths…warning.…but decided to go against our intuition and asked for a table for two. Only two tables had diners which should have been a warning in itself. First the sizzling Mongolian lamb…we were excited…my partner took the first bite…asked what I thought….it was off. Discretely told the waiter and he told us that perhaps we didn’t know what Mongolian lamb tastes like…he asked if we would like him to take it back…we said yes. Still had the crispy pork to come…the chewy broccoli and chewy old pork arrived…two bites…we left leaving half a reasonable bottle of wine behind. No apology, no offer of recompense…and cost was outrageous….but then we found Peacock Jones and they found a table for us…thank goodness."

"There is only one thing: inconsistency. The food is usually good except on Wednesday. We are regular customers and we found that when a lady chef is in charge the food is not tasty and it is not enough to fill my tummy. Ended up eating McDonalds. Never come back after being patient for a while."

"As a resident of the Eastern Shore, Bill's Asian has become a staple for fast food take out. The menu is huge, ranging from traditional Chinese food, extensive noodle dishes, tasty kebabs and your more standard deep fried goodness a smorgasboard of options! The food is...always consistently good and fresh. We also love the option of ringing ahead and ordering our meals so that we don't need to wait. If you're after a quick and easy dinner option on the Eastern Shore, Bill's is the place to go!"

"We are 5 of us have vacation in hobart, and went to this restaurant for dinner on December 26th. the restaurant was quite full, but the floor staff is only 2 girls. I asked one of the girls why today only have 2 floor staff, and they said they only have 2 floor staff every day. the girl ran like a huh. they did bar, take order, clean up table, cash handling, inviting customers, etc. they did really a great work, although the service was slow, table besides is also complaining for the delay. I wish the owner of this restaurant read my review and give a high credit for these 2 girls and more floor staff in the future that I ordered was a spicy full fish...read more"

"Atmosphere was really nice. Staff accommodating when I wanted to change my order 15 mins later. The squid was too bland. We ordered extra hot for the chicken and lemongrass and the chicken was mild. Sizzling pepper beef was nice. Wife enjoyed stealing beef from plate."
