"If you like to pay $23 each for your two sirloin steaks to be blackened and charcoaled on one side and presented on the plates burnt side down, then I highly recommend the Mt Henry. Topped off with a delicious cold sauce on top, I now remember why it's been 10 years since my last visit to this establishment."

"Met friends in Como on Saturday evening and had the freshest Snapper (battered and grilled that we all agreed was exceptional. Batter was light and not greasy. Chips good also. Service was fast and staff seemed to work well together. Will return for more."

"Been going to this restaurant with family for nearly years. I am not a South Perth or Como resident but will drive to the Golden Mile because the food, ambience and service has always been a “Golden” Chinese standard and inviting for its multivarious food options. It warms my heart and brings back fond memories during every visit. It is a wonderful restaurant for families and the family who own and run the Golden Mile are lovely people who like seeing children. Go there and take family with you for a night off cooking at home."

"Took absolutely ages to get our mains which were relatively simple. We ordered at 7:20 and they didn't arrive until 8:25. Even after all that time, there was 5 minutes between the first and last main arriving. The staff apologised but explained it away as...being due to the meals being complex. Nasi Goreng isn't complex. Neither is lamb curry. Beef Rendang takes time but is not cooked to order. It is pre made. Either way, if there was likely to be a delay we should have been warned. I will be won't be going back Other patrons who arrived well after us were paying and leaving before we had our mains"

"This is the second time we have been to Chef’s Place and the food is just amazing. It is the most delicious Malaysian cuisine we have had outside Malaysia and so very very for Hainanese Chicken Rice and for incredible brownie and ice...cream!!! BYO or well-priced wine list. Really friendly staff. Highly recommended enjoy"
