"Had a very good meal and great service but I found the price a little steep for what was on offer. That’s probably the upscaling for being located in a tourist hotspot. Would not have chosen this place if the other vegan/veggie places in town would have been open or less crowded, but enjoyed the food."

"Positives: Could get a table quick (because no one is as in there, even on a Saturday night), and the lady serving was very nice. Negatives: Very bland food with warm beer. The taste of the food just wasn’t great! We were 5 hungover guys and in all honestly we’d have eaten anything but for a bill of £171 you’d expect flavoursome food! Not quite sure what’s gone wrong here! Maybe a new chef and this restaurant may improve its rating! 2/5* Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1"

"2nd and last time to eat here. Seem that I had interrupted her phone call which she was on throughout. When does vegetarian stir fry noodles sound like prawn stir fry , even tried to get her attention when I saw she was trying to add them, but still too busy on a phone call. Even said when been served it, I asked for vegetarian which she ignored and I had to pay the prawn surcharge and ended up flicking them out and leaving it in the end. Should have not paid for it and just walked away. Thank you for the privilege of not being listened too ! The only thing I can say the portion size is good , pity I wont be using again."

"This is the best thai cuisine in Birmingham as we have tried a posh thai restaurant in Birmingham but the meal could not be compared to this the Thai Cottage. If your a fan of prawns then you must order their Gong Pow which is no. on the starters lunch menu. Also their spring rolls are gorgeous with their sweet dip. Another thing, amazingly, the lunch menu is very cheap as it's just for the meat or vegetarian option and for the seafood option! It's definitely worth trying as the environment is bliss and calming and the service is welcoming. One of the top restaurants i've been to!"
