"My wife and I were let down by the experience, as well as the taste of the food. Oily and fried do not equal an upscale Omakase experience. I should have left when I noticed the toaster oven placed prominently in the chefs workspace. Many guests stopped the courses early as a way to save money, as the total cost exceeds $250 per person. Some of the sushi was well prepared but overall the lobster and oysters received in tinfoil made me feel like I was on an episode of hells kitchen... I recommend Sushi Sho for an amazing Omakase experience, I would have happily paid $60 for my experience at Sasabune. Lastly the staff recommend miso soup to end the meal and settle the stomach . It was one of the more flavorful parts, but the idea that we need to settle stomachs after 14 courses is evidence that the menu should be reconsidered and focus on the raw fish."

"Super great hotpot near Waikiki. Individual hotpot was great with many different soup bases to choose from. I liked how all of the sets came with a bunch of the key basics needed on the side for hotpot. We had the duck, shrimp, pork, and kalbi and all was delicious. Definitely recommend if you are in the area or are in the mood for some great hotpot."
