"My husband and I enjoyed a meal at Galleons for our anniversary. We both had an entree and main and I had a dessert. All food was beautifully plated and good quality. Service was friendly and very efficient. We sat at an inside table which overlooks an inground pool set in tropical surroundings and is air conditioned. Outdoor tables are also available but could be a little humid during the summer months. I recommend this restaurant."

"We were surprised there was no option of sitting inside with air-con so we sat outside and sweltered in the heat. I guess this is summer in Mackay? We enjoyed a trio of dips for lunch and a BLAT burger which was fairly good. Coffees were ok but service a little slow. Lucky we were on holidays! Close to the lagoon but not very busy."

"A very pleasant Al Fresco lunch in the tropical tree tops of the beautiful Mackay botanical gardens. A turkey and cranberry wrap, scones, jam and cream followed by an excellent cappuccino. A nice stroll through the beautiful gardens after lunch made a pleasant Sunday afternoon"
